If you only do one trip whilst in Iceland make it this one. This trip is with a company called Hidden Iceland who offer small group tours and on this particular tour they take a maximum of 12 people. Travel was on a comfortable minibus (with USB charging points) and we had the benefit of Joe as our guide. He really knows his stuff regarding the geology and geography of Iceland. The scenery on this trip is amazing, from the snow covered volcanoes, frozen waterfalls, black lava beaches with dramatic crashing waves to the stunning colours and landscape of the glacier. Then on top of this a visit to the Lava Centre which just finished off an amazing day. A fantastic day out and the highlight of our trip to Iceland.
A little bit of everything that covers a fantastic day out. On our way back, our guide spotted the Northern Lights and she detour the mini van so that she can park and let us enjoy the lights.
Great day for Adventure! Joe was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Adjusted to weather keeping us safe but entertained.
