Know More about this tour
Bring your own food for lunch or, if need be, your guide will arrange a quick stop so you can buy snacks (own expense). Your first stop is Skgafoss, one of Icelands largest waterfalls. Take in the roaring falls and then pass more of Iceland's captivating scenery on your way to the centuries-old Slheimajkull Glacier. Admire sights of the ice clinging to the mountainous slopes of Mrdalsjkul, and then meet your instructor for your paragliding session.
After a safety briefing, walk to the take-off site with your tandem pilot who will control your glider during your flight. Put on your helmet and glider harness, and then take off from the hillside. As you float on the breeze, take in birds-eye views of the volcanic beaches, jagged mountains and shimmering Slheimajkull spread below.
After 10 to 15 minutes (depending on weather conditions) in the air, descend gently back to land and travel onward to the black sand beach at Reynisfjara to see its famous basalt rock columns. Hear the mysterious legends that surround the striking rock formations, and then continue to Seljalandsfoss, arguably the most beautiful of Icelands waterfalls.
If you wish, stroll along the path behind the cascade, and capture close-up photos of the thundering waters, just a few feet away.
Finally, relax on your drive back to Reykjavik, and finish with an evening hotel drop-off.
Please note: the duration of the paragliding flight depends on weather conditions and specific flight times cannot be guaranteed.

Very good tour with visiting the most famous sightseeing places of South Iceland. Waterfalls were especially beautiful. However, they cancelled the tandem paragliding a day before because of the bad weather conditions. That was a real pity for me, but the weather is a big issue in Iceland and similar activities depend on your luckyness to pick up the right weather. The rest was good and the tour guide was excellent.

The day before the trip I got an email saying the paragliding was cancelled due to weather. We were really disappointed to find when we got to the bus station that the paragliding was never an option for us as they don and #39;t run in April at all. Dispite disappointment the rest of it was fantastic.
