Know More about this tour

After travelling through the stunning countryside and villages of Wiltshire, we arrive for a short photo stop in the charming town of Salisbury. We walk through the Medieval St Ann's Gate and the cathedral close, seeing an impressive collection of historic buildings, and then take time to admire its impressive tower and spire - at 404 feet the tallest in the country - constructed in a short space of time from 1220 to 1258. We then enter the cloisters, built from 1261, and the largest in the country, to complete our walk.
On the way to our second stop if the day, Stonehenge, your guide will tell you of he many myths, legends and facts behind one of the greatest mysteries of the prehistoric world. Was it a temple, a clock, a burial site? Decide for yourself as you walk around the stones. You'll have the chance to visit this world famous monument from 4-5,000 years ago and still have enough time for the gift shop or a quick coffee. You'll also have the chance to explore the new visitor centre and neolithic village.
Almost 1,000 years of royal history are waiting for you at Windsor Castle, perched high above the River Thames and the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Home to British Monarchs for one thousand years and the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, the Castle remains a working palace to this day. See the splendour of St. Georges chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. The guide will not enter Windsor Castle with you - you will receive a personal audio guide on admission so you can take in Windsor Castle at your own pace.

Very good tour, just not enough time. Don't go on Sunday as it will be very crowded. Rob was great. Very knowledge and funny.

After touring Windsor Castle, we enjoyed a pint at a quaint local pub with our guide, John (he did not have a drink). It was fun to share experiences.

We had such a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Windsor, Salisbury, and Stonehenge.

  • 13-Aug-2023

The whole experience was very rushed. We didn't have time to see anything. The Salisbury cathedral wasn't even open when we arrived and the 2 hours we supposedly had at Windsor castle started as we rolled through the gate. It was hurried and not a good tour.

The narration of the trip was outstanding. The only criticism was not enough time to walk around and shop at each location.

Andrew, our tour guide was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We very much enjoyed Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Windsor castle. Nice to be dropped at our hotel too.

We took this tour after departing a cruise ship and on our way back to London. The tour company was very helpful in getting it set up beforehand. Our tour guide was funny and very nice. We were thankful that we got to be there when Salisbury Cathedral opened right after our arrival as our tour guide didn't think we would have time to go inside. We wish that there was an advance heads up on the website about the amount of walking that would be required getting up to Windsor Castle. From the parking lot you have to go up stairs/lift to walk through the outdoor shops and then up a hill before you even get to Windsor. That combined with the walking once we were inside the castle and then walking back to the motor coach was too much for two of our family members and two other people on the tour. Overall we liked the tour but wish that activity levels/accessibility challenges were mentioned on the website.

The tour was enjoyable. The guide had a wealth of information. Salisbury church we got to vew on outside only. I liked Windsor and Stonehenge. Felt we needed more time at St. George's as the line was very long. The bus driver was also very experienced and took care of us. The only need was the bus lavatory was out of service.

Eva provided a lot of good info. The bus was scheduled for 8am pick up arrived at 8:15 then unfortunately waited too long (another 45 min) for 2 passengers that never arrived.
