Itinerary:

This port transfer allows you to combine the drive from the Port of Southampton to London with visits to three world-class attractions! You will be met on arrival at the Southampton docks by your friendly guide and transferred by luxury coach to London via Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Windsor.

Here is the basic itinerary you will follow -

Stop At: Salisbury, Wiltshire, England

The first stop will be the beautiful town of Salisbury, the location of one of Britain's best examples of Gothic architecture. It is also home to the tallest Cathedral spire in the whole of England, the world's oldest clock and one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta.

After a guided tour through the medieval town, you will have free time to explore on your own and go into the cathedral if you wish. Consider purchasing lunch for later in the day in Salisbury.

Please note: Entry to Salisbury Cathedral is not included on this tour, and entry prices are on a recommended donation basis. Please note as Salisbury Cathedral is a working Cathedral it may be subject to last-minute closures.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England

On the way to Stonehenge, the guide will tell you of the many myths, legends, and facts behind one of the greatest mysteries of the prehistoric world. Was it a temple, a clock, a burial site? Decide for yourself as you walk around the stones.

You will have the chance to visit this world-famous monument from 4-5,000 years ago and then you can go to the gift shop on the premises or have a quick coffee. You will also have the chance to explore the new visitor center and neolithic village.

Please note: If you would like to enter Stonehenge, please select the 'Entry included' at the time of booking. If you select 'Entry not included', you can purchase Stonehenge tickets from your guide on the day of your tour if there is availability.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Windsor Castle, Windsor, Windsor and Maidenhead, Berkshire, England

Almost 1,000 years of royal history is waiting for you at Windsor Castle, perched high above the River Thames and the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Home to British Monarchs for one thousand years and the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, the Castle remains a working palace to this day.

See the splendor of St. Georges Chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. The guide will not enter Windsor Castle with you but you will receive a personal audio guide on admission so you can take the tour of Windsor Castle at your own pace.

Please note: If you wish to enter Windsor Castle, please select 'Entry included' at the time of booking. Should you choose not to enter the Castle, Windsor itself is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs.

Duration: 2 hours

Your coach will depart Windsor at approximately 4 pm for your journey to London, which is less than an hour's drive. When you arrive in London, additional vehicles or taxis may be used (included in the price) to ensure that hotel drop-offs for all passengers are completed as quickly as possible.

Our guide, Robb, is one of the best guides we've ever experienced. The tour was everything we hoped it would be. Highly recommended.

Picked us up promptly at Southampton port. MATT our driver was amazing.
ROB our guide was so interesting. So much knowledge.
He even made sure we each had pictures at Stonehenge. That is with us in them.
He gave care to each an everyone.
    Delivered us to our hotels.

We ended our cruise in Southampton and I was looking for a tour that transferred us back to London. I booked this excursion and it was perfect. It worked out that there was only one other couple going with us, so the trip was by mini van.

Our driver met us as we left the ship and loaded our bags into the van. We left Southampton and he told us a bit of history in Southampton. We drove about an hour to our first stop, Salisbury Cathedral. We got information about the history as we drove there. He drove us right up next to the wall around it and then walked us in. Showed us what we could do in the Cathedral or walking back to the main street. We had an hour and a half to explore on our own. It was perfect and we enjoyed it very much. We were able to explore the Cathedral and visit the Magna Carta display. Then a bit of shopping. We met him at the appointed time and we were off.

We drove about 30 minutes to Stonehenge with a narrative of the area and history. Then again, he got our tickets (we had prepaid with for it) and told us what we could do and we had an hour and half to see it and visit the visitor center, shops and cafe. We had audio devices to use at this site. A perfect amount of time and enjoyed it. We met him at the van and we drove to the next stop.

The final stop was Windsor Castle, a little over an hour drive. He walked us in and bought our tickets and gave us directions and we had two hours at this site. We walked the grounds and visited the Queens apartments (restoration work going on now). Then down to St George's Chapel. You could get and audio tour, if you want. We didn't think there would be time to listen and see it all. So we skipped it. Perfect for us.

We met him at 4 pm and we drove to Heathrow airport to drop off the other couple. Then he drove us into London to our hotel. We were dropped off about 5:30 pm. A great day for us! We had seen all the sites before, but it had been more than 20 years, so it was great to spend the day doing this. Love that we could do at our our own pace and spend time as we wanted to!

A great tour, a must see, no guide just a recorder which was a pain due to the weather. Long walk for those who have a hard time w mobility, not enough time at sites.

  • 20-Sep-2019

We had verbally and in print that gratuities, food and drink provided, but they were not! The tour itself was OK! The leader talked to us on bus but left us alone on the tour.

  • 06-Aug-2019

Tour guide Valentina was extremly nice and helpful. Interesting sites and we really enjoyed the visits.
The tour included drop off at our hotel therefore we had to change the bus at Windsor aswe splitted the group
In the new Bus, the A/C was not functioning and the trip was hell on earth (35celsius inside). The grandmother of my kids nearly fainted (she has a slight heart condition) and everybody was sweating like hell during the 2 1/2 hour trip. The bus driver was apologetic, but he told us that he couldn't do anything because he was just the chauffeur. He reported the failure to the tour operator.....with no response or apology. We paid USD 835 for a group of 7, entrances not included. We recommend Valentina and the tour, but defiantely not International Friends because of the final leg of our trip

  • 15-Jul-2019

This tour provided so much more than the ship's tour. Valentina was so enthusiastic and such a sweet girl. We loved all 3 sites and it was nice to be driven directly to the door of our hotel, which turned out to not be exactly where I thought it was. Great day!

  • 15-Jul-2019

The guide and driver were great, but the tour is overpriced for what it is based on a family of four. In retrospect, we should have hired a private car for the day from Southampton to London, gone direct to our hotel instead of stopping to drop off other passengers, and probably still saved money. With one or two people this probably makes sense, but families should at least look for other options.

As first-timer to UK, I enjoyed to have the opportunity to see the countryside, but would like to have spend more time in Salisbury and Windsor.
