FANTASTIC full-day tour. Learned a lot about Johannesburg, culture, and history!!! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and well informed. The prison tour at the end of the day made a huge impact on us. This tour made us realize South Africa has evolved immensely just over the past decade or so ago... but I truly believe there is still a lot more that needs to be done for equality!! If you want an eye-opener, and an experience that offers reality, and gives you some historical insights- this is an EXCELLENT TOUR! Thank you very much!!

Clement was such an amazing guide, so full of knowledge of Johannesburg and Soweto. We learnt so much about South Africa in general also. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

My wife and I had a day tour of Joburg with Solly on 2-20-20. We visited Constitution Hill and the prison (where Gandhi and Mandela were imprisoned), went to the top of the Carlton Centre (tallest building in Africa), visited the Apartheid Museum and lastly the village of Soweto. All of these locations were very informative about Joburg's current and past history. Solly was a great guide and gave us many insights into life in South Africa.

Solly was great! Very informative, patient and a wealth of knowledge. Even though our hotel wasn’t on the list up pick up locations, he agreed to pick us up at our hotel anyways. Our tour far exceeded my expectations!
-
Very informative. Includes both cultural and historical aspects. Even had a chance to go up on the tallest building in Africa!

Our tour guide picked us up promptly at our hotel. Throughout the tour he gave us great background on the history and culture of Johannesburg and South Africa. Had an incredible tor of the precision and were able to enter the Supreme Court chamber during a break. The Apartheid Museum provided wonderful images of a dark time. Our visit to Soweto and Mandela’s house was moving. Especially moving was the visit to the location where a high school student was killed during a protest and hearing of his mother and sister’s stories. Unforgettable.

Awesome and a must see tour. We learned so much history on this tour. Our tour guide, Sully, is so passionate and knowledgeable about everything Joburg and Soweto. He navigated us professionally and did not leave out !any details. When we did our self guided tours, he was waiting for us and asked questions to make sure we knew facts about people, landmarks, past and current events. Professional driver and very personable. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

I had the extreme pleasure of doing this day tour with Solly owner of Phillipians 4 Four Travels and Tours. If you have to pick tour companies, please use his and hopefully you will also get Solly! Solly was super knowledgable about the history of Johannesburg and Soweto. From the beginning of our day at Constitution Hill, to the excellent views from the Top of Africa, to the Aparthied Muesuem and the tour of Soweto, Solly gave us so much more insight than if I was to do this tour by myself.

It was a perfect experience in Soweto and Johannesburg. As we were the only 2 people booked for the trip, we had a private tour. The guide was excellent , knowledgeable and courteous. As it turned out to be a private, the guide was so courteous to heeding to our demands of numerous foto stops. We had a excellent tour of soweto. As part of Johannesburg tour, we were taken to constituition Hill. when we said, we were already been there , the guide was so magnanimous enough to take us to Satyagraha House , where Mahatma Gandhi lived in Johannesburg. It turned out to be the highlight of our Johannesburg visit. Altogether the tour turned out to be more than our expectation.Anyone wishes to have a wonderful experience of Johannesburg and Soweto, definitely , go for this tour. Happily we give 5 star rating, a gold standard tour.
