  • great fun! wine was good and we learned a lot about the history of the area and the family wineries we visited. The local place that we ate lunch was delicious too! Enrique was a great guide, he knew so much about the area and wineries and spoke English very well

  • We visited a variety of wineries and tasted many different wines. Our hosts were very informative. I'd recommend the trip highly.

  • The wine was wonderful, the wineries and wine makers were very interesting. Even better, we met and made friends with some of the other people on the tour. Enrique was quite knowledgeable but rushed us through the wineries and at the mid afternoon lunch. Enrique walked far ahead of the group and at one point, he was so far ahead of us, we didn't know which direction to go in the underground cellars. We ended up getting back to the starting point, an hour and a half earlier than what the tour description indicated. Enrique did have the restaurant put a candle in my slice of cheesecake and lead the group in a round of Happy Birthday, I did think that was sweet. I would take this tour again, but only if the tour guide was interested in conducting a less rushed tour.

  • OMG, this was an excellent tour. Our guide was Enrique, he was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny, personable, just a great tour guide.
We visited 3 different winery's and they were all incredible. The wines were delicious, the tapas were great and the education on how all of this was made is incredible. Have a good breakfast because you start drinking early!!!! Lunch was incredible, try the 4 course meal it is fanstastic!!! Take this tour it is the best !!!!

  • Wonderful day! I can't say enough about what a great experience this was. We went to three small, family owned wineries just outside of Madrid. Each experience was a bit unique. For example, at one we went into the vineyards. At another we toured the wine cellars, which were like caves. The presentation at each winery lasted the perfect length of time. We learned interesting things about each, but were never bored. The tastings were generous! After the tastings we enjoyed lunch at an excellent local restaurant. And our guide was terrific. Very friendly, spoke English well, kept us on track and entertained us with lots of information about the area and Spain in general.

  • This tour was the most down to earth, friendly non pretensions one I have ever taken. There was only 10 people on the tour, which made it more personal. We got to meet three wine makers and they conducted the wine tastings. Carlos our guide was very friendly and provided us with the right amount of info about the wineries and history of wine making in Spain. The amount of wine we tasted was more the expected and a extra treat. We stopped for lunch in a small village for a delicious lunch. During lunch we got to talk and get to know the other people on our tour a little more.
Great wine tour and highly recommend taking it if you are going to visit Madrid.

  • A most enjoyable and unforgettable day out visiting 3 very different wineries. Generous tastings.

  • This is a must do in Madrid. Service and personalize attention was incredible. I loved this tour. Be prepare to leave very tipsy as they are not cheap with the servings of wine and cheese.

  • This is a wonderful wine tour from start to finish. My fiancé and I have been on numerous wine tours in Europe Italy and France and now this one in Spain and this was well worth the money. The wineries we visited outside Madrid are very small, family-owned operations that date back generations. The wine was quite good and you are offered more than enough. Each winery also has bottles for sale to bring home for very reasonable prices 3-5euro! The only critique is that the lunch should be before the third winery rather than after visiting all the wineries. As is, you're drinking lots of wine without having eaten much. The lunch was delicious and more than enough food for a very reasonable price. Enrique was a wonderful tour guide who knows a lot about wine and answers all of your questions and does a great job translating to English. Enrique makes sure that everyone is enjoying themselves and explains things very well some of the winery owners only speak Spanish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves wine, is interested in the wine making process, and is looking to bring home some bottles of wine to enjoy at a later date. I would also recommend eating the lunch Enrique recommends and would recommend Enrique's tour without hesitation!

  • Very good trip to the different winery. Enrique the tour guide was very friendly and new about the region and the different wine.
