This was a nice cruise but poorly organized with no information on where to line up, wrong boat and too many tickets sold. This required a 2nd boat and a lot of standing around and waiting.

Great cruise! You are presented with amazing views of the Manhattan coastline, finishing with the statue of liberty at the end then cruising around under the Brooklyn bridge. The tour guide had a great ability to tell stories and hold his audience captive, and I was a fan of all the numbers and statistics he was telling us. Both sides of the boat get a good view of the statue - the boat cruises past slowly on its starboard side, then turns around and lets everyone on the left to take snaps so no need to run around the boat! Definitely a great tour to look back on the city. I also didn't think it was required to get off at Liberty Island not on this tour - you get an amazing view of the statue on this tour!

We booked this tour from home fore 3 persons, - looking forward to some pictures of the Statue of Liberty by sunset.
On our voucher, we vere told to be on site half an hour before departure, we arrived at 6:30. The crew from the ship was kind to let us board on arrival, after having seen our vouchers on my phone. Only to be orderd of the ship moments later, by a young man from Circle Line Cruise, who informed us, that ticket service not had arrived yet.
Short after 2 ticket service employes arrived, - both seemingly incoherent. The told us to enter the 100 mase of airport line. At that point we were the only passengers on site? Not a joke -
Naturaly we entered the 100 ft. mase of airport line, just to arrive in front of the two ticket employes once again. The service employe then tryed to scan my 3 e-voucher tickets, without resoult. I therefore asked him, to try to enter the numbers of the barcode, into his scanner. After thinking a whileread very slowly/dull, he refused to try, and then asked us to go back to the ticketstand at the start of the pier, to collect printed tickets. Exceptional service :-
We of course went to pick up the printed tickets, we dont mind some exercise.
Then back through the 100 ft. mase of airport line, just to arrive behind aprox. 20 other cruise passengers. Finally the ticket service employslowly/dull ripped the stumps of our tickets, and we borded the Cruise line ship again. We found seats on to the upper floor/viewing deck, next to the cruise guide. The cruise guide was sitting with his head resting in his hands, albow on his knees. He were openly detached, and seemed boored with the fact, that he onse more had to give the same lecture. Lacking any kind of enthusiasm, he went through his material, konstantly repeating Ill get back to that later. Wich he unfortunately forgot severall times, on the way back to the harbour/pier.
On this evening the weather was quite nice, but the cruise crew were in a hurry. The whole tour took aprox. 45 min., - and we never got to take any sunset pictures of the Statue of Liberty. If the cruise ship, had sailed a bit slower, the timing would had been perfect, fore some beautiful sunset pictures.
We do NOT recommend the Statue of Liberty Cruise NYCSunset cruise, - dont waste your money.
The ship crew seemed nice, but the service employes and the guide were a total joke. The guide was not even humble enough, not to ask for tips opun arrival back to the harbour/pier.When we sailed from the Statue of Liberty, the New York Water arrived at the same time, - maybe they are better at calculating the time of sunset in NYC.
Enjoy your NYC trip, but dont spend your money on a Circle Line evening Cruise, - pure dissapointment.

unfortunately we had a very wet evening trip but the staff on board were very knowledgable and made it a very good trip.

You can't miss with this tour! What an iconic moment -- to see this incredible symbol of liberty illuminated at night from the water. Just perfect.

I contacted about our flight delay because of weather in NYC which was going to make us miss the cruise. They contacted the cruise company and I never received any information back about being able to reschedule or not.

Amazing guide!
-
The narration wasn't very interesting no serious information about the different landmarks we visited.

Arrived early, no clear signs as to where we'd to go for our particular cruise, Went to ask in the only kiosk and did not see the evening tour listed, nearest was the night cruise which is what we got. Was informed to go to the end of the pier and wait. No boat like the one advertised on the Viator page, it was a smaller yellow one like the water taxis. By the time we were finally allowed to board it was actually dark so the views were purely of New York lit up whichalthough was amazing to see but not what we were expecting and definitely not so great for photographs. The tour guide was informative but the boat itself was rather shabby, the windows especially were dirty so again not ideal for taking photographs, yes there was an small upstairs seating area but that was very crowded. All in all very disappointed as we expected from the description of the cruise to leave in daylight and return as the light turned to night and that way we would get the best of both. Thankfully we'd also booked the hop on hop off bus which included some bonus tickets one of which was a sightseeing ferry which ran hourly every day and we were able to do a much more enjoyable trip for free! and see everything with that.
