I thought the cruise was fantastic. The crew let everyone participate in the raising of the sails. There was a full bar on board, and the ride was smooth. I enjoyed looking at the diffrent landmarks as we went down the coast. We got to see Governors Island at the Statue of Liberty. The vibe was pleasant. I would def come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a great way to see the Statue of Liberty up close and get some great pics of the Manhattan skyline and surrounding area. The crew was great and very helpful. Plenty of seating on board with a small drink & snack bar available. Spending a few hours out on the water is a great way to see the city!

We had a great experience sailing in Manhattan. Beautiful boat and very enjoyable time! Crew was great and happy to answer any questions. This tour was a highlight during our trip, would definitely recommend!
-
This was such a fun way to see the city by water. Sailing really adds an element of fun to the adventure and the views are incredible. The crew is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the city!

Interesting experience but not really genuine. Interesting crew, friendly people. Very nice in the second part of the afternoon.

This is the first Manhattan by sail we have been on since 2019 and we were disappointed. The new docking area has many shops and restaurants to spend time while waiting to board. That is about the only plus to the current experience. The boarding was easy and the cruise left on time. The crew came across very new, inexperienced and disinterested in the cruise. The main sail was not raised for the 75 minute trip and we we were at a dead stop a few times that seemed to be a way to make the trip longer. Without the stops it would have been about an hour. We did get very close to the Statue of Liberty which offered some good photo ops. The bartender was efficient and the drinks were normal for NYC. We had two drinks and 2 waters and the bill was $40. There is a lot of fun potential but the current experience was just ok for us. Pre-2019 we sailed on the clipper 10+ times and experienced a much more engaging crew and a fun sailing experience.

The crew are excellent and very welcoming. It is a great trip and you get so much more room than being packed in like sardines on the ferry. It takes you nice and close to the statue so you can get good photographs. I would highly recommend this trip. We used it as part of our ‘Go City’ pass.

We had a wonderfull trip with the Clipper City. Great communication with Cindy at the ticket office and a friendly crew aboard the boat. Very recommendable!

We picked this to view the Statue. What a great choice. As we walked to slip 2, we passed a large number of people waiting in line. We saved so much time and hassle riding this boat. It slowly meanders towards the statue and then hugs the bay. You dont get that close but close enough for a good view. There was no constant chatter from the crew which was nice, but we weren't fond of the rock music. Definitely would go again.

I did enjoy the experience- sailing on the East River, viewing the NYC/NJ skylines, the staff was very cordial & I left them a nice tip. I was disappointed that we only navigated from Pier 36 to Liberty Island & back. I would have loved to have seen the Empire State Building/NBC Top of the Rock or other iconic sites on the Hudson. Despite the weather, I recommend bringing a sweater/hoodie. Furthermore, I recommend eating before you depart. There are no restaurants near these Piers to grab food.
