This is more of a "jazz on a boat" event than a tour. The tour narrator pointed out the various buildings we could see from the river but gave very little in the way of insights or history that you would get in a real tour. The jazz band was great. While it is nice to see the shoreline of the city, if you want to learn about the city, spend your money elsewhere.

Nice relaxing trip lunch was a little disorganized and confusing. We would do it again with the grandkids but skip the lunch!

  • 26-Nov-2022

The crew was on time and friendly, snacks and drinks during the trip were amazing, and trip narrator was very informative.

Went on a daytime cruise (sightseeing only, no lunch). Although it was a cold and rainy day, it was still a great trip! The narrator was excellent, as was the live jazz band. I'd recommend getting there early so you're closer to the front of the line. There weren't many seats on the 2nd level (where band performs), so would make a beeline there if that's important to you.

More seats outside Everything was good The food was great and the service the same. I like the trip and I recomended it.

Not enough seating. Had to stand the whole time during the tour. Definitely not a tour for someone who can't stand the whole time. Some patrons were sitting on the floor.

Just a relaxing little Cruz on river. Enjoyed views , commentary, and the meal. History of Mississippi was interesting.

Great to be on such an iconic vessel, a must for the tourists in New Orleans. The jazz music made it very special and it was a nice sunny day so showed the boat off to its full potential

Loved the steamboat, food, music and narrator. We learned a lot from the narrator but there wasn’t anything to see except industrial warehouses and barges.

Our trip included the lunch buffet (11 AM seating). If you get in line early you can grab a window seat for lunch. The server will bring you a plate of fish, sausage, jambalaya, and red beans along with a slice of bread pudding. If you want more of anything, just ask a server and they will bring it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two hour cruise was split between commentary from the captain and music from a Dixieland jazz trio. The band is shown on several TV screens throughout the ship. After lunch, we wandered around the ship and settled down in the room where the band was playing. It was a nice experience.
