Departing your accommodation, you're taken alongthe Stellenbosch Wine Route to the Zevenwacht Wine Estate, located about20 minutes from Cape town. Admire scenery that is completely different from the landscape of the Cape Peninsula. Numerous grapes are grown in the region, such as chenin blanc, shiraz, pinotage, and the mthode cap classique (sparkling wine). Upon reachingthe small but vibrant town of Stellenbosch, enjoy your first tasting at awine cellar.
Next up is the Marianne Wine Estate, located in Franschhoek, an old Huguenot village translated asthe 'French Corner.' You will be enchanted by the town's charm and tranquil atmosphere while youtaste of the region's best wines and cheeses.
En route to Paarl, your guide will point out Drakenstein Prison, a low-security prison where Nelson Mandela spent the last part of his sentencefor campaigning against apartheid. On arrival in the town, whichoffers a fascinating window into Afrikaner cultural traditions, learn about theformer haven for Huguenot pioneers who came from Europe at the beginning of the 17th century.
Your day trip ends with the return to Cape Town and drop-off at your hotel.

We had an experienced guide Rob who made the trip experience great. Plenty of local information shared making it much more than a wine 🍷 tasting. Best experience was at the Marianne winery with 2006 wine Floreal.

Very good tour with nice people and dedicated guide. The scenery was fantastic and the wine tasting good. It’s a good overview

A great way to visit the different vineyards and wine regions, comfortable transport and convenient pick up and drop off to/from your hotel. Basil our guide for the day was very informative and attentive throughout the day. The combination of food and wine pairings at a couple of the vineyards as well as experiencing a short wine-tasting tram ride in Franschhoek was a perfect balance. A fun day out and some free time in the different towns for a quick walkabout and/or bite to eat. Highly recommend this if you like wine, cheese, biltong and the outdoors!

This was a brilliant tour from start to finish! We were picked up from our accommodation in Cape Town before heading to Zevenwacht, Marianne, and Rickety Bridge Wine Estates for tastings. We had brief stops in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek towns which were both nice for a quick explore but that was enough. Our guide, Maxwell, gave us a lot of history as we drove and was so patient and friendly which are definitely needed for a wine tour! Definitely do the full-day as you feel completely relaxed and not at all rushed

Great day touring the the vine yards. Basil was our guide, and was very informative on the history of Cape Town and the townships whilst on our way to the vine yards. We stopped at one vine yard in each location, sitting on verandas over looking the vine yards and mountains to look around the barrels etc. we had a good wonder around stellenboch and had a good hour extra in franschhoek for lunch before the wine tram and a glass of something lovely. Great full day out. Would recommend this trip as get a good flavour of the wine regions of South Africa.

The group was amazing, Maxwell our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the whole day with the group and everything was well planned. Highly recommended

Reginald was an excellent guide, kept us on time and the wine farms chosen were great. The service at Rickety Bridge was slow and wine presentation was lacklustre in comparison to the rest but this did not detract from the experience as a whole. Would have loved to have had more time on the wine tram instead of photo ops at random monuments, or less time could have been spent on lunch/wandering around towns. But overall it was a great way to see three major wine regions and would recommend the experience.

Amazing trip into a beautiful countryside in the South African Wineland. Excellent guide in Chris and a diversity in travel companions from various countries made the day unforgettable. The three wine producing sites were as taken from an old romantic painting and majority of the wines were excellent. Great fun with the tram and that old Massey Ferguson picking us up from the tram station and crossing the fields to get us to the last wine farm. Would most certainly do the trip again ! And for sure I will look for some South African wine when getting home

It was an awesome day and the driver was so wonderfully patient. Due to low mobility he had to drop me off near the restaurant for lunch which he kindly did. Had an amazing day:)
