A fantastic day out packed with experiences and sights that Scotland is famous for!
Leaving central Edinburgh at 8:10am, we head west to the interesting Glengoyne Whiskey Distillery. Only adults need pay an optional admission price to receive a wee tasting tour for 1 hour which includes 2 drams of whiskey. (Children are free but no whiskey tasting for them!) Alternatively, visit the tranquil grounds and waterfall behind the distillery or explore a small section of the West Highland Way pathway while the whiskey tour is taking place.
As we head through the Trossachs, we arrive at the shores of Loch Lomond for an optional hour long cruise on this beautiful Scottish loch. Alternatively, visit the shops, playpark, aquarium, bird of prey, adventure golf or aerial adventure course nearby.
A sheep dog and duck demonstration awaits you as we stop in the quaint village of Aberfoyle and the wool centre. Here you have time to visit the animal park and the rest of this traditional Scottish town.
Our final destination for the day is Stirling castle. You may choose to explore the historic city of Stirling or pay admission to the castle to visit the Great Hall, Royal Palace, Chapel Royal, Tapestry Exhibit, Great Kitchens and Regimental Museum.
Our fun-filled day comes to an end as we return you to central Edinburgh around 6:30pm.
