Bus not so swell - just city traffic and such. The boat was terrific for scenery and for transportation.

  • 19-Aug-2019

The decision to use HOHO bus and boat turned out to be worthwhile. We purchased the 72 hr pass for our 2 day stay which enabled us to do the main sites over that time. One issue is that the cruise ships filled the buses to the max.

This was a great way to see Stockholm and get a lay of the land.
I would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit.

I highly recommend Red Busses hop on hop off bus and boat. And don’t forget to buy the option with the boat tours. Highly informative tours and a great way to see parts of town you wouldn’t see otherwise. The only thing I can criticize is the music in between the speaker. It gets to be annoying after a day.

  • 31-Jul-2019

Because the bus services the cruise ship terminals, there is a lot of 'dead time' on the bus when there is no commentary, etc. They should either alter the route so that you can get off at one stop and let he bus collect the cruisers and get back on a short distance away.

The boat service is good and a nice add on.

We took the 72 hours hop on hop off bus and boat to explore Stockholm. It was pretty cool esp the boat experience

  • 15-Jul-2019

At 5:50 p.m. at a stop far from the center of Stockholm, our driver told everyone on the bus that we had to get off because he was done for the day. He said another bus would be there to pick us up in 10 minutes. We waited half an hour before finally hiring a taxi to take us back to our hotel, which was close to Central Station (where the bus was supposed to take us). Highly unprofessional behavior! No problems with the boats, but this bus experience was by far the worst of many hop-on hip-off bus experiences in cities around the world.

  • 03-Jul-2019

We used both the bus and the boat trips. Good commentary, although music was a little annoying. Have used this in other cities and was as expected.

  • 03-Jul-2019

Once we got to Stockholm via an hour train ride from the cruise port things went quite smoothly. It was a little disconcerting when we found out we were not being picked up at the cruise port. Tour guide was easy to understand through the use of headphones.

The red bus sightseeing tour was good and I was glad the buses were covered and heated as it was cold. The only begative, but quite a big negative is not being able to find the hop on hop off bus stops easily. It needs to be made clearer on the maps EXACTLY where they are . I wasted a lot of time looking for the stops and I saw others doing the same
