What amazing experience of Old Delhi, we tried 14 different foods. Each experience came history of the food in India but not too much. We walked down many laneways I wouldn’t have ventured on my own. Ash was an amazing tour guide, one of the best I’ve experienced in my many travels around the world. You felt like you were with an old friend for the day. Ash’s English skills were impeccable which made understanding what he wanted to share so much easier. This will be top 5 day in my travels. If you enjoy experiencing a new culture through food this is a must. If I only had one day in Delhi this is the tour for you. You can easy head over to the Red fort on your own at the end.

Did this the day after arriving in Delhi. It was a great introduction to India and old Delhi. We visited restaurants you would never find on your own and some have been operating for generations. Food was amazing and very tempting to eat it all, but dont do it. Tour guide Aditya had exceptional knowledge about foods and history. At the end of the tour Aditya helped me to navigate the subway and made sure I got back to my hotel.Even paid for my train ticket, Thanks Aditya!!

Jaidev was an excellent guide we went to places that we could never have found on our own or imagined going in to. The food was simply excellent. We have been on tour in India for three days since this culinary experience, and have not been able to get anywhere near the experiences we had on the day. If you want to learn about Old Delhi and experience some exceptional food then this is the only way to go.

TAKE THE UPGRADE to being accompanied by the chef. Raj was an absolute wealth of knowledge, obviously very very well versed in all things culinary and actually taught me how to taste food. Huh? Yes, until this tour I did not know how to extract the most flavour from foods I eat. Oil based heat ( mistakenly referred to as "spicy" ) and water based heat are very different is just one mystery explained... You know, some foods hit hard out of the gate and then settle down while others build and build.. One of many things explained by Raj while you enjoy a vast range of different foods. Clive.

We had an excellent time and couldnt recommend highly enough. We learnt a huge spectrum of interesting things with respect to the culinary history, present and future of this amazing city.. Plus some great knowledge on the gustatory senses and why food tastes as it does! An experience to try before you die.

We had a great time exploring the street food of Old Delhi with Shikha, who was helpful and accommodating with all of our requests. Shikha is very knowledgeable about everything related to Indian food, and she made us feel very comfortable to enjoy what would have otherwise been an overwhelming experience to try to navigate on our own!

Incredible food experience on the streets of Old Delhi. We learned so much, saw so much and ate so much! Simply breathtaking - the food, the different tastes, the food, the sights, the people .... did I mention the food?! A real wow moment was experiencing the way the same curry tastes different with every bite - simply amazing. Thank you so much to Raj (or Dr Spice as I called him!) for the tour - very highly recommended!
