Overview

We begin this wildlife photo tour by heading north along the western boundary of the National Elk Refuge to Grand Teton National Park. Here we will travel along the southern park roads watching for wildlife and stopping frequently for photo-ops. Wildlife we frequently encounter on this trip includes bison, elk, deer, moose, pronghorn, (aka antelope), fox, coyote, bear, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if were lucky, wolves. If time allows we might choose to stop at the Jackson Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

Duane had lots of great historical info. We found moose, a bald eagle, antelope, elk, and even a bear on our trip. He was attentive to all the kids questions and had a good sense of humor.

Grant did a great job with our tour. He let us take our time and shared tons of information with us about the Tetons, as well as history of the area. We saw lots of wildlife as well. Great private tour in a nice vehicle.

We did the private tour and our guide Lee was an extremely knowledgeable naturalist and former park ranger. He had an agenda of wildlife to find and speak about, but anything else we asked to look for he knew exactly where to find it. The snacks and refreshments provided were tasty and nutritious. I would fully recommend this tour company.

Our guide was knowledgeable, prompt, polite and we saw a lot of wildlife. She knows her subject well and allowed our input regarding our goals of the experience. I would definitely recommend Sarah too anyone wishing to have an informative experience.

Kala (sp) our driver/guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. She’s a five star guide.

Fantastic tour with our guide Duane. The car was comfortable and snacks and water were provided. Duane was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about where to find wildlife, and very personable. He went out of his way to make our experience special and to ensure that we saw nature in action. Highlights included seeing elk, watching 2 bald eagles hunting for fish, and watching a bear (from a distance of course) just living its life. All in 4 hours.

We took the half day Teton wildlife tour with Barry as our guide and throughly enjoyed it. Barry was knowledgeable of the history and was amazing at spotting the wildlife. We saw so many critters and birds, just what we wanted. He was also so considerate of our needs and took great care of us. We will definitely book with him again.

Went on a half-day private Grand Teton tour, and the experience was amazing. We saw moose, elk, bald eagle, bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep, and a pine marten. Our guide, Dave Green, was awesome and basically gave a TED talk in between sightings on the area and its history. In addition to talking about wildlife, he also delved into Native American history in the area. He also kept things light whenever there was a lull with jokes and colorful anecdotes. We saw a lot of scenery that was beautiful in the snow, and overall, it was the best safari experience I have been on in the U.S. We look forward to a return trip, including Yellowstone.

This was well worth the time and money. Our guide, Peter, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. He knew exactly where to go to see the things we wanted to see. Highly recommend.

Would 10/10 recommend this tour. Our guide Makinzie was amazing and made sure that we had every opportunity to catch as many animals as possible. Well worth the money
