Overview
Discover Swedens rich wildlife and forests on this 4-hour sunset safari from Stockholm! Travel by air-conditioned minivan through the rural landscapes around the city and drive into dense forests in search of everything from elks, deer, wild boar and hares to a fascinating array of birdlife. Exploring at sunset heightens the chances of spotting elk in particular, as the animals emerge to feed and find water. Along the way, stop to view some Viking rune stones and enjoy a short forest hike in a bid to observe animals close up!

Please note: this is a van based activity. We travel by van so as to cover a greater distance and increase your chances of spotting wildlife; we usually see at least three out of five of the animals mentioned, if not all five!
CHECK IN time is 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Arriving at departure time or afterwards will likely result in you missing your tour.

Very enjoyable, very informative, well organized, lots of fun. Our guide was knowledgeable and articulate, able to explain everything about the area, its history, the animals we would see, and the Midsummer Meal tradition. I was part of a group of seven, including the tour guide and guide-in-training. My main goal was to see something of the Swedish countryside. Although the description talks about seeing some animals, my attitude was that unless these are animals trained to be friendly, they may or may not make themselves known. They are, after all, wild animals and this is their home. As it turns out, we saw a good number of animals, including a couple of moose (or possibly the same moose twice - it’s hard to tell from a distance), roe deer, a couple of cranes, a couple of hares. The “Midsummer Meal” was delicious with lots of options for non-meat-eaters like myself. Well worth the cost.

Nous nous attendions (comme c’est écrit) à nous retrouver en forêt hors on ne sort presque jamais de la voiture ! Cela n’a rien de « nature ». Il était écrit qu’une balade en Forêt était prévu hors rien donc aucune explication sur la faune et la flore. Nous avons vu quelques animaux ( lièvres, biches, sanglier) mais nous avons les mêmes à la maison don aucun intérêt de notre côté. Cette attraction est vraiment trop cher pour la prestation ! Si vous louer une voiture 4h et que vous aller vous balader, ce sera pareil et beaucoup moins cher Vraiment très déçu au vu du prix payé ! Je ne recommande pas.

We were on a wildlife safari on 1st june with our guide lena. She told us a lot about stockholm and the wildlife. She was very symphatic and the midsummer meal was very delicious. With the spyglasses we saw a boar, a fux, deer and rabbits. Lena did a great job!! Thank you! We would recommend the tour to everyone. Greetings Andy & Nadja

Great evening - we saw all the wildlife we had hoped to see ! especially mooses and wild bore. Our guide Tess was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. An intense 4 hours immersion in Swedish-Ness with a typical Swedish mid-summer dinner ahead of the “safari” - Thank you Tess ! Highly recommended

We spent an unforgetable moment with Erik. We did not expect to see that much animals but we ended up with a record of 33 deers, 7 rabbits and 2 mooses 🤠 (and 2 fisher-men 😄). Erik is such a good guide, explaining everything with a lot of passion (and with a great English). A good swedish meal, and then an amazing safari will be our best souvenir of Sweden. 🇫🇷🇸🇪 Tak tak tak Merci beaucoup 😍 Manon & Arthur

A great guide but a misleading experience. Farm lands, a car driving among the fields but nothing wild. Seeing some deer in the distance with binoculars is no safari and certainly not worth the price.

It is OK if they do not guarantee seeing Moose or real wildlife. The problem is charging more than 100 EU for a drive around farms where you can see rabbits and deer. For the majority of population that like the outdoors, we see deer and rabbits at home. Why pay 100+ EU to see what you can see at home? This company needs to be honest and say upfront that it is a tour of rabbits and deer around some farms and decrease the price to 30 EU. Not worth it. Very disappointing. The guide very unprofessional cursing during the trip. Don’t waste your money.
