Wonderful display of Sea life. Great array of aquatic life to see and watch. Has a large indoor play area so parents can take a seat for a while The annual pass discounts are very welcomed. Even the scuba divers cleaning the aquarium gave a friendly wave

Great Aquarium to visit. We find it can get very busy at certain times especially in school holidays so I'd recommend visiting later in the morning or after lunch. The shows will definitely be less busy in the afternoon or do what we do and skip the shows, that's when it's best to explore, have lunch at the cafe or let your kids play in the playground.

This is a fair sized Aquarium with a good variety of animals and good demonstrations. It is a little smaller than Melbourne or Sydney aquariums but it still a good day out with kids both big and small

The number of people should be limited. It was horrendous. It just was not pleasant for anyone. It was difficult to look and enjoy any of the exhibitions due to far too many people. We paid top $ and did not get value for money.. We could not get out of there quick enough. Being so crowded in that situation was very claustrophobic and unpleasant. If you must attend this venue do not go on a wet Sunday. I will not recommend this venue to anyone.

We waited in line for about 10 mins to get to the door which is hard with young kids. We purchased a penguin encounter and seal swim so we ended up having to be scanned at door and then re join another line inside and when we got the front the lady was rude and not very attentive. You would think she would move abit quicker or have more staff helping. When we moved through we waited a while for the penguin encounter which was hard again with kids. From this point every staff member was awesome. The penguin encounter was amazing with my 5 yr old however the photos by the photographer which is a huge shame. We then koved to the seal talk which was awesome!! Then the Swim was an amazing experience but again didn't get photos due to an error. I have no photos of the memory and I'm so gutted!! The staff were amazing and helpful and kind. Loved the whole thing By this time kids had enough and we missed the rest of the aquarium but highly recommend the encounters and swim I'd give the encounters a solid 5 I choose 3 as the whole day was hard with so many people and prams in the way and screaming kids everywhere plus a slow slow process through everything and it's worse with young kids just wasn't enjoyable that side.

We pre booked our tickets online as recommended which we assumed was so they can limit guest numbers to make it a more enjoyable experience…….wrong. We took our infant daughter there and barely got a quality look at any of the exhibits, let alone any of the shows or talks by staff. The reason? School groups were EVERYWHERE……and I mean EVERYWHERE! We get that school groups have every right to attend and we have no issue with that but Sea Life need to manage it better by warning members of the public before they book and waste their money or perhaps have set times for school groups and set times for the rest of the public. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse, they had really loud construction work happening in one area that was so loud I am sure health and safety requirements would have required ear protection to be worn by guests. We had to block our daughter’s ears and weren’t able to stop and look at the exhibits in that area because it was so loud. We may have just picked a bad day to go and otherwise it might have been ok but our experience was terrible.

Great for kids to get up and close with the various sea creatures due to glass; but some parents think this is where they can let their children roam freely and we sadly saw many aquariums being banged on to get the animals attention. Our daughter entered the photogenic aquarium tunnel and after this, we ended our visit quickly as our daughter was having an allergic reaction to peanut butter smeared on the walls of this photo tunnel - thankfully we always have her epipen on us but had to call the ambulance in the carpark.

Spent a nice couple hours here with two boys 4 and 1.5yo on a cool rainy day. Mt last visit was probably about 20 years ago as a kid when it was Underwater World. Perhaps not much has changed, but not a terrible thing. Very clean, neat, well maintained aquarium. The highlight definitely the Underwater tunnel where you can see plenty up very close. Great seal views too. Worth a visit.
