Le safari en quad est une supère excursion à faire en couple. Le seul hic c'est que l'on avait réservé pour un safari en 4&4 ... La déception de ne pas faire ce pour quoi on avait été réservé et le fait de devoir payer en sus, le matériel nécessaire a été toutefois compensée par l'activité. La balade en quad dure suffisamment longtemps à contrario du tour en chameau qui est très décevant. N'hésitez pas à vous offrir la photo souvenir qui ne coûte quasiment rien et qui est top ! Nous recommandons donc cette excursion (quad et non jeep comme annoncé).

We booked this through our hotel, and wish we hadn't. We had an exhilarating ride across 4km of desert but we were stuck on bench seats in the back of a pickup truck so it wasn't as good as it could be - and things went downhill from there. The quad bikes were a 10mph procession across flat ground for a couple of kilometres, then back into the pickup for a half hour journey across the desert. That's where it got really shabby - a procession of "look at this camel ride, would you like to give a tip to the person helping you? Look at this man making sand bottles, would you like to buy one, look at this rug - would you like to buy one" - then another 10mph procession of spider cars (not sand buggies). After this, we were herded to the central area where we were supposedly having a bedouin barbeque - this was actually a paltry piece of chicken with some salad, a short (10 minute) dance display, and then we were taken back to the hotel and asked for a tip. The "Bedouins" are of course local people acting as bedouins - which I wouldn't mind if they were honest about it rather than pretending to be something they are not. Overall, I would never recommend this Jeep Safari version to anyone.
