Know More about this tour

Your friendly driver guide will come and meet you at Brighton train station at 10:15am, you will travel on our comfortable Mercedes mini-coach, there are a maximum of 16 people on each tout giving you a more intimate tour and allowing the guide to make sure you can make the most of your day.

On leaving Brighton station we will make our way in to the beautiful Sussex countryside to travel the short distance to a gold medal wining family run vineyard. At the vineyard you will be taken on a tour of the vines and winery to get a full understanding of the process that goes in to making fine English wines. After the tour comes the fun bit where you can enjoy and understand the wines in a tasting session, and as we do the driving you dont have to hold back.We will spend about 2 hours at the vineyard and there will also be a chance to purchase some wines so you can take them home with you.

After all that wine we will make our way to a traditional Sussex country pub for lunch (1.30pm), depending on the time of year you can expect typical pub food from a ploughmans or fish and chips to steak pies or lasagne (please note that lunch includes a main only and no drinks) and why not try a locally brewed beer to go with your lunch. Remember to leave some room as later on you will be trying out some rather lovely Sussex cheeses.

On this tour we not only want to introduce the great English wines but also the landscape that makes the production of such wines possible. After lunch we will make our way through the South Downs National Park to one of Englands most iconic landscapes, The Seven Sisters, here the chalk of the South Downs hills meets the sea to form the majestic white cliffs. What finer way is there to end the day than enjoying a glass of fine English sparkling refreshment and trying some beautiful Sussex cheeses whilst taking in the sight of the Seven Sisters cliffs.

We will then make the 40 minute journey back to Brighton Station, on the way we will make a stop near Brighton pier if you would prefer to spend some time in the city before returning home, other wise we aim to be at the station some time bewteen 5pm and 6pm.
