Starting your journey from Zurich

Pass By: Brnigpassstrasse

Set off from Zurich's Sihlquai Bus Terminal by motorcoach with your guide in the morning and head out over the Brunig Pass to the highlands of Bernese Oberland the heart of the magnificent Swiss Alps.

Stop At: Aare Gorge, Meiringen, Bernese Oberland, Canton of Bern

Stop first at the impressive Aare Gorge and take a walk along the secure footbridge to enjoy spectacular views out over the valleys and peaks beyond.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Grimsel Pass, Oberwald, Canton of Valais, Swiss Alps

After a little free time for lunch, hop back aboard your coach and descend through wild Alpine terrain to the Grimsel Pass. From your vantage point at a lofty 7,103 feet (2,165 meters) above sea level, admire the serene Lake Toten.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Rhone Glacier, Gletsch, Canton of Valais, Swiss Alps

Continue on to the Rhne Glacier at 7,545 feet (2,300 meters) and explore the fascinating blue-ice tunnel leading to the Ice Room.

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

Stop At: Furka Pass, Canton of Valais, Swiss Alps

Warm back up with a hot coffee (optional) then follow your guide through the Furka Pass for stunning views over the Gotthard Massif.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Schllenen-Schlucht Andermatt/Gotthard

Travel deep into the Urseren Valley to the Alpine resort of Andermatt where the Schllenen Gorge, the legendary Devil's Bridge and the mighty peaks of the St Gotthard Pass await. There, pause for a while and appreciate the majestic Swiss Alps to the fullest.

Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for Aare Gorge and Rhone Glacier.

Infants and children aged 5 years and under are free of charge but must be registered on the booking.

What a delightful way of spending a day in Switzerland! There were only 4 of us on the trip and our guide was well-organized, friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. It was a long drive to The Alps but the scenery was spectacular allowing us to take great pictures. With such a small group, we were able to ask questions about Switzerland very easily. We spent an hour on the way to the glacier walking through an amazing gorge carved out by the glaciers. Tt was fascinating. When we arrived at the glacier in the Alps, we walked into an ice tunnel at the beginning of the glacier. This was a little disappointing as we hoped to actually walk on to the snowy glacier. On the trip, we had ample time to eat lunch and shop for souvenirs.

The first portion up to and including the Gorge was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was an avalanche and the visit to the glacier and everything with it was eliminated. When I asked for some consideration, the message was that we had been to the glacier as tickets were issued - bad answer as we clearly did not finish the trip. Just a long drive around the lake back to Lucerne. Great countryside terrible customer service.

Amazing!! Aare gorge.. 90 mins to hike down(simple walk) and eat lunch(bring your lunch, food's expensive). Ice caves were cool wish we had more time there. Devil's bridge was beautiful beneath(do the scenic walk down). I will say that for the price, lunch should be provided or at least one water.

This was a wonderful day tour to visiting Aare Gorge, exploring Rhone Glacier and the Alps. We had our guide Karen who's a very experienced guide and she got excellent driving skills too -- very impressing! The whole tour was really enjoyable and unforgettable. No one should miss this amazing experience!

This tour was amazing! I can not explain how highly I would rate this tour. The guide ,Ernest and #34;Ernie and #34;, was phenomenal. He was full of interesting facts and kept the tour lively. The adventure itself was one I will never forget. Switzerland is beautiful and this tour leaves no doubt.

Tour was OUTSTANDING!! The small group was the perfect size. Smaller bus with no bathroom but they make plenty of bathroom stops along the way. Saw everything and then some!! Would do it again and again. I highly recommend. Worth every penny.
