Day 1: Deluxe Hunter Valley Winery Tour from Sydney
Departing from the city, travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Your first stop is at the Australia Reptile Park, where in a delightful setting surrounded by kangaroos, wallabies and pademelons, you can enjoy morning tea/coffee and time to visit with the native Australian Animals.
Departing from the Park, arrive at Australia’s oldest and best known wine region soaked in history. Your first visit is to a 5-star winery nestled in the Mount View region of the Hunter Valley, a well renowned viticulture area. Sample exquisite wines in your own private area.
From here, continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Here you will enjoy a selection of cheeses to accompany the wine tasting followed by a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process.
For the conclusion of the tour, enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at your own expense.
After lunch, enjoy a stop at the Hunter Village where you have the option to visit the Chocolate Shop for sampling and perhaps a decadent purchase or two! Explore the boutique shops or enjoy a final wine tasting at the local Cellar Door. From here, commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotel approximately 5–5.30pm.
Day 2: Half-Day Sydney City Sightseeing Tour (to be taken within 7-days of your Blue Mountains tour)
Depart your hotel for an unforgettable Panoramic Sydney half day city sights tour. On tour you’ll visit the historic Rocks area and hear early convict history. Enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. See the shopping heart of the city, and travel to Bondi Beach. First stop is at Observatory Hill to enjoy harbour views and go over the map following the intended route.
Traveling on through the Rocks learn of convict history and settlement days. Driving along Macquarie Street you will see historic buildings, NSW Parliament House and others as you make your way past Hyde Park and St Mary’s Cathedral. Pause at Mrs Macquarie’s Point for spectacular Bridge and Opera House views.
From here travel through severalr high end Eastern Suburbs to Watsons Bay at South Head. There’s a chance for a short scenic walk before heading on to Bondi Beach for a break. See a couple of other beaches before a drive through Centennial Park and Paddington. Lastly drive through Oxford Street, China Town and Darling Harbour.
Passengers can join our optional harbor lunch cruises (payable direct) or return to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay
