Book this tour now! You won't regret it! Oscar was a fantastic tour guide (Thanks for a great time Oscar!!), and the food and drinks were amazing. We really enjoyed learning about the history and culture of San Miguel as we walked to each of our stops. Visiting the oldest cantina in San Miguel, and those INCREDIBLE street tacos were also highlights. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and it was a great value for the money!

It's hard to get almost 100 percent of users to give you a 5 star review. But this tour, hosted by Oscar, earns it! We started the evening at a local restaurant and had a very good fish taco and marg. Oscar told us a bit of the history of the city while we ate. We then visited another restaurant and had a different variation on a marg. This one was made with mescal and tamarind. The taco was made with toasted scallions and pork. Cocktail and taco were great! We made a third restaurant stop and enjoyed mescal straight up. Oscar taught us how to sip and taste the mescal. We had wonderful enchiladas there. We made 3 more stops including a street tamale then a street taco at the oldest operating stand in San Miguel. We ended the night with a shot of smooth tequila at a local cantina. Throughout the evening we heard about city history. What a night! Highly recommend.

Our tour with Sam was awesome!!!! not gonna lie. We were a little take aback when we saw a white dude and when he told us he was from Minneapolis , we were like what is this guy going to be able to tell us about SMA, OH MY GOSH , his knowledge is outstanding!!!! conversations that we had were so wonderful, the taco places that he took us to was amazing in, and in the evening with the best tequila I have ever had, and I love tequila! I’ve already posted all about him on Instagram and Facebook, highly recommend you ask for Sam FYI I signed my husband and I up for this because we both love tacos and I especially love TEQUILA, but we didn’t know is all the knowledge of San Miguel de Allende that he shared with us, we’ve only been in SMA for three days and we are already planning to come back for a month

This is the perfect choice for a first or second night in San Miguel. We had a friendly, knowledgeable guide who easily handled a group of people with varying interests--from history and architecture to local food and liquor. He took us to six locations to make sure we could sample a huge variety of tacos (and a couple of enchiladas too). The drinks were great matches for the food, and small enough to enjoy without getting tipsy. My friends and I went back to a few of the venues in the week after the tour. What better endorsement than that?

OK, this was one great tour. My wife and I have traveled the globe and have done countless tours ……. This one ranks as one of the best. Oscar (our guide) was fabulous. Perfect mix of history, storytelling, and fun. The food was good, solid local food, from small local restaurants. The tequila and mezcal was better than expected. Please take this tour
