Our tour guide was Harper and he could not have been more charming. Very personable, full of great information, stories and history of the area. We visited 6-7 places with stops at 5 for amazing food. Pace yourself ! I wasn't able to finish my portion at the last stop and I'm pretty sure there will be no dinner needed tonight! The walking pace was easy, with plenty of stops in the shade. I got in 8000 steps today- probably not enough to walk off all of the food, but that's ok. What a fun and filling way to get a taste of your fascinating city! Highly recommend this tour, one of the best I've taken (and I've been on a lot of food tours).

Not knowing what to expect from this, we were really on the fence about booking it. But I am so glad we did! And I will intentionally look for similar tours in other cities from now on. Taylor was an exceptional guide, taking us to some great foodie spots and providing a colorful history of Memphis along the way. Because she was born and raised in Memphis, we got great insight into various locations, architecture, local personalities, etc. The food was so good, too. From Guy Fieri’s favorite burger in town (Dyer’s since 1912) to BB King’s fave spot for BBQ ribs where he had his own reserved booth (Blues City Cafe right across Beale from BB’s close b) to eclectic newer spots with innovative chefs (South of Beale or SOB which has no traditional items with an Asian influence. We enjoyed every stop! We finished off with Beale Sweets, where we sampled as many fudges as we wanted of their dozen or more types before choosing a bar to take with us. Highly recommended!

My husband and I did the BBQ tour and loved it! Harper was the BEST tour guide. He was full on knowledge of BBQ and Memphis history. We enjoyed all the food we tried and will definitely be back to do another food tour

This food tour was amazing. Our guide Taylor (also owner) provided an experience like no other. She represents what Memphis is all about, from history to food. She delivers all the information is a fun and captivating way. She is a local, so she is able to share a lot of interesting historical info as well as being a chef she knows her food. All the places we went welcomed us and presented us with delicious food. The fried burgers were something we never experienced and were soooo good, my husband wanted to go back for dinner! Taylor loves showing off her city, all the great food and stories to go along with it so definitely book a tour. Bring your appetite because it's not little nibbles like you get on a lot of other food tours.
