We were so happy with our tour with John. From the beginning, it was clear that his style was custom tours that give the traveler exactly what they wanted. He had great communication leading up to our tour, made recommendations as requested, and confirmed the day before. He started the day on time (he was actually outside our hotel about 10 minutes early), was very cheerful, and gave us an informative tour from the beginning of our day until dropping us off. Though we had settled on an agenda going into the day, he watched what we liked and made suggestions along the way to maximize our enjoyment. In addition to being well informed, we enjoyed his personal anecdotes, the great photos he offered to take of us at the various stops, and the respect he showed us as foreigners. Not a cheap decision but absolutely worth it! I would highly recommend to any adults visiting northern Wales. I understand why he has a 5 star rating!

The driver took us to places that we would never have seen on a tour bus or on our own. In addition he told us about the history, culture and stories.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of Wales!!! John catered our experience specifically to our requests and added in some special stops along the way for our kids to explore and burn some energy. He was kind, incredibly knowledgable and had a lot of grace for our family who was a bit beat from starting this tour immediately after international travel. We felt like we hit the jackpot by being guided by a local who had so much personal experience in the area. We were in awe of the breathtaking beauty of the area, and felt very welcomed by our amazing guide. His van was clean, comfortable and safe. Book this experience! You won’t be disappointed!

Our tours with John were a real highlight of our trip to North Wales. Our itineraries were carefully planned, allowing us to see large swathes of the region while also having plenty of time for toilet stops and lunch breaks. John's knowledge of the area and its history was exceptional and added real value to our trip. We also really benefited from his awareness of the region's various small, winding roads - without John, we would have found travelling between locations and finding suitable places to park much more challenging. John helped remove these 'stresses' and allowed us to focus on enjoying the incredible views. Overall, we thoroughly recommend using this service for your trip to Wales - you wont regret it!

John did a great job to show us the highlights of the area around Llandudno while sharing insights about the local nature, history, culture, cuisine and personalities. His knowledge of and love for Wales shines through as well as his passion for anything historical and gastronomical! Will definitely return to learn and experience more of the beautiful unspoilt nature, food and mythical stories guided by John.
