  • It definitely worth it.

  • this was a fabulous tour - exceeded our expectations! Our extremely informative tour guide took us to many parts of Oslo that we wouldn't have gotten to on our own - we experienced fantastic food and drink! Highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Oslo that would like to see bits of the city, experience some of the taste with a fabulous tour guide in a short amount of time. Thanks.

  • The tour guide was amazing and the food was fantastic. A must see or do.

  • The tour was amazing also thanks to our wonderful guide Pierre I hope I have not butchered the name. There were only 3 participants, it was very enjoyable and I learnt a lot about Oslo. I wouldn't have known about many places if I hadn't had the tour. Thank you Pierre

  • This tour was great! Eddie was an amazing tour guide who showed us both the city/nature sides of Oslo. He was a super nice and sociable which made the entire experience memorable. Thank you Eddie!!

  • Get ready to eat a lot!

  • We went on the tour on Sunday the 11th of September. Eddie was our guide and took us as a group of 2 as the others had cancelled. So we basically had a private tour of Oslo with just the two of us and Eddie. The tour included a large meal at the first stop, which was an entree of smoked salmon, grilled makeral and shrimp. The mains were a choice with mine being the reindeer cakes. Other options were pork chops and salmon steaks. All the food at here is sourced from within Norway. We then went traveling via the underground and trams to our second stop that was waffles and coffee. our third stop was the Malhallen food hall where we got to try a sample of various local cheeses and spreads. We were lucky enough to get to try some smoked whale although i cant say i recommend it. Our last stop was a local pub where we got to try three different locally brewed beers as well as a glass of Aquavit. Overall the tour was great and Eddie ended up staying on and having a drink with us for another 3 hours with no obligation to do so.

I would highly recommend this tour however try and get a booking on your first day or two as we had already been in town for 3 days and had been to the food hall already.

If you are lucky enough to get Eddie as your guide you will have a great time with him. Thanks again!

  • We enjoyed this tour a lot - good way to become acquainted with the city. Description said we would be going on an aquavit distillery tour, this did not happen, but we still were able to try some! Recommend asking where the tour will take you in the city so as not to double up on the sites

  • Eddie did a great job making the tour fun and informative. We enjoyed lots of traditional food, and enjoyed chatting with the others on the tour.

  • Was a bit disorganized from the start. Meeting time and location were changed via email the morning of the tour which led to some confusion. Were disappointed that more information on the foods we were eating and origins wasn't given. Tour guide was engaging but felt the 'taste aspect of the tour was lacking.
