We had a fantastic time with our guide, Woody! Our group of 4 consisted of two Seattle natives and two out of towner visitors, and the tour was great for all of us. I highly recommend a tour of Pike Place Market with Woody whether you're looking to sample some delicious food, learn some interesting history, or just laugh and have a good time. Thank you Woody!

This is a must before heading to the market on your own. Dani texted us first to send an actual video on how to find the meeting place as it’s so large (24 buildings). She lead us from one end to the other explaining the history along the way. It’s described as a “light lunch” but I was completely stuffed by the end. I feel completely confident to navigate the market on my own after this. Highly recommend

So...this was a great tour. Our tour guide, Imogen, was awesome...very knowledgable, fun, engaging and entertaining. She made our tour totally worth the time and money. And the food that we sampled was very delicious and filling as well. We even stopped by a some of the same places after the tour to purchase a few of the things we sampled. If you want to learn more about Pike Place, while sampling some delicious local foods, then we definitely recommend this tour. It is fun for the whole family too. Two Thumbs Up.

Great Experience! If you are looking to experience Pike Place Market, this is a great way to do it! Our guide, Lucky, was super knowledgeable about the city, the market, and the surrounding areas. Everything was very thoughtfully planned out and well executed. You will get to try some great samples from 8 vendors and see the highlights of the market. I grew up in the Seattle area and visited the market many times as a kid but it had been about 10 years since I’d been back. I brought my fiancé, who’d never been to Seattle, and he was impressed by how much we got to see and try. The market can also be a bit hectic and crowded so having a guide is a wonderful way to experience it without getting overwhelmed or lost!

From start to finish, we had an amazing tour of Pike Place Market! We learned so many interesting facts about the market from our fantastic guide, Nola! She was engaging and truly seemed to want to share her love of the market with us. We began the tour with a raspberry shortcake (pure buttery goodness) and ended with gelato that was very similar to what we’ve tasted in Italy! In between, we enjoyed smoked salmon, truffles, fresh nectarines, pulled pork, dried cherries, award winning clam chowder, and more! If you have a few free hours in Seattle, I would encourage everyone to sign up for this tour. It was a great way to see the market and enjoy some delicious samples!

We had a fantastic experience on this walking food tour of Pike Place market. Our tour guide Bob was excellent—he was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job pacing the tour and including everyone in the experiences. The food was truly delicious—there was a nice range of various types of cuisine representative of Pike Place and Seattle. I was pleasantly surprised by how educational the tour was as Bob provided a rich history of the market. He showed many historical photos while conveying the local history of the market. I have a master’s degree in history and I was so impressed with Bob’s knowledge and ability to communicate this history in an engaging and balanced way. My long-time Seattle resident aunt who worked in an office at the market for almost 40 years, accompanied us on the tour and she learned so many new things about a very familiar area. She truly loved the whole experience. My preteen twin boys (age 10) had a really great time, too. This was a huge highlight of our trip for all of us.

Woody, you did a GREAT job. I took the tour on 6th August. The tour was easy to find, lasted a good time (2hrs) and combined some really interesting history with some great food. They advise eating a small meal before but there is enough food that you could go without breakfast and you’d be fine. Woody was incredibly knowledgeable, showed us the best places and was clearly well-known among the locals there. His commentary was just the right level of information and he made it super fun too. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic trip with Sarah. We enjoyed her extraordinary knowledge and her kindly way to describe all about the market. She also had a lot of ideas for attractions and restaurants in Seattle. We were the only two person from Germany at the tour and her English was excellent for us to understand. Thank you so much for the tour Sarah!

A great way to get a taste of Pike's Place Marketplace without getting overwhelmed! Our guide, Cacey, was knowledgeable, funny, and a delight to spend the afternoon with! Her personable attitude and immense knowledge showed how dedicated she was to her job after such a short time. I wouldn't have believed she'd only been working there for about 2 months, you could tell the passion she had for the city and her work. Best Part: Clam Chowder and learning about the Three Girls Bakery! Also the pesto at the Truffle Queen's are to die for. Seriously go to this food tour, it's a great way to spend your time and not feel too much like a tourist at Pike's Place, and you can learn about the great things Pike's Place does!
