We arrived in New Zealand on Monday night and Tuesday morning made the 3 hour drive over to Lake Taupo from Hastings area. Well worth the drive as this combo was fun on top of fun. We started out with the cruise/tour of the lake. Coffee, muffins, beautiful scenery. Upon our return to dock, we were greeted by our driver to take us to the helicopter tour. A great and exciting ride/tour over to the Jet Boat. We felt like celebrities getting off the helicopter and walking over to the Jet Boat that was waiting on us. And wow, so much fun on the boat up to Huka Falls. Twists, turns, 360's, and right up to the falls! So much fun. Then sadly, the adventure ended with our shuttle back to our vehicle but all great things must come to an end. Actually it didn't end, we had a great lunch in town, then drove over for a fixed wing tour over the Alpine Summit Crossing trail. What a great way to start our week in New Zealand!

This combo is well worth the money. Boat cruise was scenic and the helicopter ride wonderful with a great pilot. The jet boat ride was truly memorable. Highly recommend.
