Well worth it. Fantastic place and knowledgeable guides. Trip on boat good too. Especially on a calm day

A must-do when visiting the area, From check in to return, a wonderful experience. Our guides were knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. The glow worms themselves performed admirably and put on a great show. If you have mobility issues this might be a problem but the staff will do all possible and they'll let you know ahead of time. From little kids to older folks (like me) you'll finish up grinning.

This trip included a 2 yr old child who could not sit still nor keep quiet. Hence the whole trip was spolt. There was not a magical moment in the caves just a lot of howling and crying.

Excellent trip with amusing, informative staff.
We took the 4.30 trip and saw hundreds of glow worms in the stunning caves.
I would highly recommend this trip -

We came in rainy October and the original booking and then the day after got canceled. Luckily we gave it one more try. Because of all the rains we were super up close to the glow worms and got a great experience.

A lovely cruise and commentary on the LakeTe Anau. The caves were a lot easier to access than we thought. Enjoyed the boat and glow worms.

Book in for the first night of your stay incase of poor weather conditions enquiring to be cancelled and rescheduled. There was flooding in the caves on my first night but thankfully there was space to be moved to the next day which worked out well. The boat journey across the lake was really cool. It was really dark and they turned the lights off in the boat too which was really pretty awesome! The stories about the glow worm caves were cool - and the guides very knowledgeable. The caves are super impressive
