My girlfriend and I booked this tour and due to dryness switched it to the regular Everglades Adventure. I put regular in quotes because this tour has been anything but regular. Ben was a terrific and knowledgable guide and the tour surpassed our expectations. Highlights were the boat tour in the Ten Thousand Islands region and the amazing wildlife we got to see up close. A lot of beautiful birds, alligators and even a dolphin were amongst our encounters. Lunch was also very delicious at this nice local cafe and most of all the tour was educational and fun and it was great getting to know our terrific and easy going tour guide.

We would gladly choose Wild Lime Adventures again and highly recommend it to everybody visiting the area!

Attending a conference in Fort Lauderdale, I decided to visit the Everglades - why not? When would I ever get close again. I saw the Wild Lime Tour through Viator, a full day and I could fly home in the evening. Stacey was my tour guide. She has a doctorate in Biology and an engaging personality. I didn't want the type of widely advertised tours - 1 hour boat ride, videos of wrestling alligators, lunch with alligator meat.... gimmicky trips. I wanted to learn about the land, the critters, and the people who live there. Stacey knew about all and kept me engaged for 10 hours!!! A couple of highlights - a walk in the swamp yes, in the water where we saw rare orchids, many birds, fish, and other critters Stacey saw a snake but I missed it. We also went out on a boat in the 10,000 island area. The dolphins entertained us and I was thrilled to see manatees. On the way home we stopped at a post office known as the smallest post office, and I mailed postcards. In between this all Stacey shared the history of the Everglades, took me to visit a local historical museum and treated me to lunch. I got to the airport right on time. I'm filled with memories of my trip to the Everglades and the gift of being there with Stacy.
