Know More about this tour

Board your sightseeing cruise boat at Tower Pier on Londons Thames River, and then take a seat at your window-side table. From the comfort of your seat, gaze out at the sights as you start cruising west into the heart of London.

Following a round-trip route to Westminster, your cruise takes in several iconic London attractions and landmarks. Pass the famous Tower of London, juxtaposed against the modern buildings of the citys Square Mile, and avert your gaze southward to admire a medley of the capitals big-name sights. Look to the skyline to see the Shard Western Europes tallest building and see street performers and tourists strolling down the vibrant South Bank.

As you pass further attractions such as Shakespeares Globe Theatre, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, take time to savor your afternoon tea. Beautifully presented on quintessentially English cake stands, your lavish spread consists of scones with clotted cream and jam, dainty finger sandwiches and a selection of moreish cakes. A good British pot of tea is also included and, if you would like to make your meal that little bit more special, ask the waiting staff for a glass of Champagne (own expense). • This was a very nice trip up and back on the Thames. The boat is modern with the seating thoughtfully planned out. The wait staff were excellent and so very nice - had the serving and clean up timed to the second it seemed. Their choice of food with tea is more than enough for two - tea sandwiches, sweet pastries and delicious scones with jam. You can also buy alcohol. The prime viewing is on top of the boat - it is open and there are plenty of seats. When boarding, you are greeted with a glass of champagne and led to your assigned seat - great that it was not a free for all but not so great was not knowing that you could pre book a window seat. I would have done that had I realized - perhaps just the company offers that, did not see it as a choice on Viator or I missed it. The Tower Millenial Pier is very easy to find and well marked once you get to London Tower. I would give 5 stars if I had a window seat. Even at that, our view was good and you can move about the boat to take photos.

  • Very enjoyable cruise, good view , and the food was very nice

  • Very nice boat ride - enough food for lunch or even dinner.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. The staff were all so helpful and efficient. It was wonderful seeing the sights of London particularly towards the end of the afternoon when everything was lit up. Tower Bridge was brilliant and the London Eye. Sandwiches were good and plenty to eat. Drinks were offered as an extra and we tried the Prosecco for one which was reasonably priced.

  • Easy to use. Had assigned seats so don't need to rush to get a window seat since preassigned we didn't know this and came early but we really didn't need to. We didn't get a window but it was still good views.

  • Food was pretty good, wait staff were very attentive. We got to see the bridge opening which was cool. Took a lot of pictures from the upper deck. Departure pier is right next to Tower of London which is convenient. Highly recommend and will do again.

  • I took my mum for the cruise as a treat. Service was great, staff very attentive. We had great weather which made the trip even better. and it was nice when we were told about the sights we were passing. Time was perfect, not too long not too short. The only downfall was the food. Sandwiches were ok, the scones not amazing, but the chocolates were disappointing. I'd rather have 2 freshly made cakes than this chocolates. Afternoon tea should all be about cakes :

  • Enjoyed this tour along the River Thames. Tea and lunch was good.

  • Superb! But you must contrive to order table at the window :

  • A different way to enjoy afternoon tea and take in some sights of London without walking a step. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Liked the idea of being shown to our table. Tables for two are on the windows, bigger tables in the middle, but this does not restrict your viewing. Good selection of sandwiches, one round per person, lovely selection of mini cakes and a large fruit scone each with jam and cream on the side. No stinting on the tea. Commentary on return part of journey helped to point out the more interesting buildings etc. A pleasant way to spend an hour and half.
