The Battle of Santo Domingo is a fully immersive 4D cinema experience. Visitors can enjoy the physical and virtual world of the 1586 walled city invasion of Santo Domingo lead by Sir Francis Drake the most renowned seaman of the Elizabethan era. The film follows this fearsome pirate as he storms the city, presenting itself in nine languages simultaneously.Established to provide visitors with an introduction to the Colonial City of Santo Domingo, the film shares knowledge of the history, culture and values of the Dominican Republic through world-class technology. Much to their delight, visitors participate in a fully interactive and multi-sensory experience, one that includes a 3D movie with remarkable features such as motion seats, wind, mist, fog, heat and even bubbles!
The Battle of Santo Domingo was awarded in the ITB Berlin - Cinema Festival 2016 and Best Film of Cultural Tourism in the Internacional Film Festival "Art & Tur" Portugal 2016 .

Very clean facilities. They sanitized between shows. Well maintained theater. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the shows were entertaining. The 4D experience was fun, The kids loved it and we found it very interesting too. Reasonably priced I highly recommend it.

The Theater is small but the experience is huge. We were on tour of city and this is one of our stops. Very nice! The people were very nice and friendly, and the show was awesome. Wind in your face, sea spray (not a lot, just a touch for effect), and the show was very educational! Reccomend, 15 miniute show, 4D, in and out. Fun. Not sure of cost, as was included in our tour.

Excellent informative and fun movie about the history of the city. The experience makes you feel you are part of history by its sound effects and easy to understand. The staff is also super friendly, shout out to Luis who was very helpful and make my experience super fun.

Fabulous place, really enjoyed the 4D cinema, totally brilliant. Loved the seats moving, the water spraying the 3D aspects of the film. The sensations of the film were first class.

El lugar es pequeño al igual que las salas, pero a mi parecer es el tamaño correcto para este sitio. Quienes ya conocen la experiencia en 4D saben lo divertidas que pueden ser las películas en estos formatos. Pero además hay un plus en esta experiencia, y es la parte educativa, ya que conoces un poco de la historia de este país. Diría yo que debe ser una visita obligada para quienes visiten Santo Domingo. Lo único malo es que la película que vi dura muy poco, y realmente te quedas con ganas de ver más. El personal es muy amable.
