Know More about this tour

Formed in Liverpool in 1960, the Beatles became one of the most successful and critically acclaimed bands of all time. As testament to their success, they gained a devoted fan base around the world, and The beatles story Experience was later created to satisfy the Beatlemania that still grips Liverpool to this day.

The attraction was initially based at Liverpool's Albert dock (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and housed a large exhibition of exciting Beatles memorabilia for fans to see. It quickly proved so popular that a second Beatles Story Experience site was developed at Pier head, a short walk away from the Albert dock.

Both sites are included in your ticket price. While you can start your Beatles Story Experience at either location, it's recommended that you start at the Albert dock site to experience the history of the Beatles first. Listen to an audio guide, narrated by John Lennon's sister, as you take your own magical mystery tour around the exhibition! The Albert dock site also includes an interactive Discovery Zone, and The fab4 cafe. It's perfect for a spot of relaxation before heading over to the second site.

The Pier head site houses some world-class exhibitions, alongside a souvenir shop, the Fab4 Store, which stocks the largest selection of official Beatles merchandise in the world.

Must do for those who lived through The Beatles era. Nostalgia overload. Lots of littles things… like John Lennon’s glasses. A good memorabilia shop and a cafe with a Cavern Club feel.

Loved this place. Took my 5 - and 9 year old son. I was worried this was a bit old for them, but they had a great time and learned so much. The staff were brilliant and made it special for my sons. It's definitely one of the best visitor attractions I've been to.

Was a really enjoyable exhibition which gave an insight into the Beatles and the story behind them. Even our 3 teens were kept interested by it. Audio headphone guides were easy to operate, there were lots of photos and other bits of memorabilia. Took us approx 90 mins to go through it all, there are plenty of spots to stop and sit throughout as well whilst still listening. And a big gift shop and small cafe at the end. Worth the ticket price.

Very good 2 hours spent ambling through the headphone driven tour. Lots of info and extra info available. Restaurant at the end was empty - shame not availabe easily at the start. Well worth the money (paid via buy a goft for a discount)

Tour through places and events in Beatles history - took us a bit more than 2hrs to go through the whole museum. Disappointingly, rather little music, and quite a few of the descriptions fell rather short. Headsets not well coordinated with display, and language options limited. Overpriced.

Fantastic and fun. Headset is a must as it has a lot more details than posted. Everything from childhood through the solo years

I loved this tour. It is self guided. I am a big Beatle fan so there's that!! I think this experience is well done. I learned some things I didn't know about the fab 4. I highly recommend!!

Beautifully laid out, very informative, really drew you into the whole Beatles story. Absolutely fab!

We had bought tickets from a Buyagift offer which cost us only £12 for two tickets instead of £36 and to be honest I think £6 per ticket would be about right. We must have spent about 40 minutes going through the different rooms but it did not really give me a feel of wow The Beatles it was most probably because we are not massive fans and other people seemed to enjoy the tour even for £18 per ticket.
