Know More about this tour

Pass the Czartoryski Museum where Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece ''Lady with an Ermine'' is displayed. During the stroll to Rynek Gwny, stop to taste the local specialty, obwarzanek (pretzel).

Then it's off to the diverse main square, Rynek Gwny. The square pulses with life the whole day as it offers a lot of typical restaurants, cafs and beer-gardens for get-togethers with friends while being surrounded by beautiful town houses. In the middle of the square there is a lavishly decorated building Sukiennice. This market hall offers infinite an number of goods, from souvenirs to gold, silver and amber jewellery. Visit St. Mary's Church where the true gem of Krakow can be found, a Gothic wooden altar, a 15th century altar associated with an unsettled history.

The charming historical streets take you up a gentle slope to the Wawel Castle and the Royal Basilica where the most prominent Polish figures are buried. Have a lunch in one of the local restaurant (own expense). Be sure not to miss the Sigismund Bell which is said to guard the city from all evil forces. One more legend awaits you as you confront a fire-breathing dragon.

The rest of the tour will be spent in the historical Jewish district of Kazimierz.
