  • Train is a bit pricey for what it is. The line at the front to convert voucher into tickets was long. The voiceover was very good and they stop to let you climb up some stairs to a beautiful waterfall. Further away from the cruise ship pier than we expected. Turning around the train to go back took about thirty minutes. The train passes through some very nice areas with good views of the tree cemetery. Also, there were many wild horses in the area, which were very majestic looking.

  • There was a glitch and they had no record of my having purchased the I repurchased. The history of the train is interesting but our guide was a real bust. He seemed bored with the whole thing. I would take the city bus or taxi to the train and buy a ticket there.

  • This was over-rated and poor value for money! The best thing about the trip was the refreshments! We went first class and the refreshments were lovely. The train journey itself was 7 Kms long. There was nothing pretty to see out the window just barren ground and dead tree stumps! There wasn't even anything to see at the end of the line! The staff in the station were friendly and it was all very well organised but really the trip itself was a non event. We had to pay 210 pesos each because the train went into the national park and the taxis from the town to the station were very expensive 30 there and back to do a 10 mile round trip. All in all a waste of money!

  • Such a fun ride. You need to take a cab to the train station and return but that was about 8 each way. The train was a great ride through beautiful scenery. At end of train route I hiked to the local post office and along the coastal trail before returning to the train depot for return trip.
All the staff was so helpful and friendly

Highly recommend this trip if you are in Ushuaia
