The tour was well organized In The Britannia Mine Museum. It was a unique experience for us. It took around 1 hour to get to Squamish and could enjoyed Mine museum and the Sea to Sky Dragon, where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and short hiking. The guide, Mr.Lawrence is friendly and has a lots of knowledge. We learned a lot about history and nature from him. ローレンスさんは日本語も話せるので、時々 日本語混じりで説明してくれました。

Best tour Ever!!! Mr. Lawerence was so so knowledgeable, kind, quirky, an excellent driver with an excellent van. I can't believe how much we learnt about the places we visited and would not have had half the fun if it wasn't for Lawerence Tours. He was able to weave in and out of traffic and get between destination quickly and safely due to his excellent driving ability and tour bus licence. So much time saved on the road and more time at our destinations. I would highly recommend him. He is awesome. I do recommend booking right through his tour page and not Viator as Viator turned out to be quite shady for us.

My partner and I had an amazing time on this tour. Our tour guide, Michael, was great company, and his knowledge of the area was impressive. It was fascinating learning about the history of Vancouver from architecture, the Squamish Nation, exports, parks, you name it! As someone with a lot of anxiety I often find it difficult to live in the present moment and I felt fully in the moment during the entire tour. The Britannia Mine museum was really captivating and now I know how copper gets extracted from rock! Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondola were breathtaking. We hiked a bit and Michael filled us in on all of the surrounding plants, trees and animals of the rainforest. It was just us and Sara from Toronto! Really enjoyable day to think back on. The Mercedes Benz "Bus" was lovely as well. :) Thanks, Lawrence Tours!

It was an awesome tour. Lawrence was so knowledgeable and he explained all the details about the places we covered. Britannia Mine Museum, Shannon Water Falls,Sea to Gondola and it was totally worth it. Best thing is he came with us all the places and explained the details and history of those places.

We had a fantastic day on this tour! Michael collected us promptly from the hotel and curated a fabulous day for us based in our preferences. We were blessed with great weather. First up was the Britannia Mine museum which was a particular highlight. Such an interesting place including a train ride into the mine, demonstrations of machinery and how the miners worked day-to-day. The outbuildings hold various bits of info and the end of the tour in the mill itself with the accompanying ‘Boom’ presentation was unforgettable. The panning for gold afterwards was fun. We stopped off for lunch in Squamish at the brewery which was great then on to view Shannon Falls followed by the trip up the Sea to Sky gondola. Not for the faint-hearted height-wise but the views from the top were certainly worth it. Michael’s bus was very comfortable and the tour was excellent value for money. Also very covid safe - remember to bring your mask and proof of vaccination. A great day out indeed!

We Sydneysiders were met at Moda Hotel on time for the day trip and were pleasantly surprised that we would be the only two that day inside the beautiful MBenz van which was very comfortable. First up was the visit to the Britannia Mine, first obstacle for the cook which was overcome easily when being underground wasn't perilous - just fascinating. The statistics are mind boggling and the museum best seen before you enter mine complex and gold panning afterwards is rewarding as owner of Lawrence Tours, our driver/guide is an expert. Next came the Shannon Falls which was spectacular on our sunny day and I can only imagine what it must look like in full glacier/snow melt mode. Giant burger and bowls of salmon chowder at the Howe Sound Brewery were more than filling for our lunch stop and good value for the size too. Engine 2860 at the Western Railway museum has at 6 feet high the largest drive wheels I've ever seen and the restored Pullman carriages a delight to the eye and a great example of the North American/Canada 1920's Golden Age of travel. Final stop was the ride up on the almost new Sea2Sky gondola way up to more than 900 metres above Howe Sound for some fabulous Kodak moments of that plus vistas towards Whistler, The Chief rock and the surrounding snow capped mountains that I saw after a 20 minute easy hike through a rain forest. The day was slow paced, the easy to listen to narration enthralling and I never went for the brakes once even though I was in the front passenger seat. I can highly recommend this tour and as always there's a rating from LDC and I say 9/10.
