First stop at Aphrodite's Birthplace for a photo stop. According to the legend, Aphrodite - the goddess of love and beauty - took here her first bath after she raised from the sea. Next visit is the picturesque mountain village of Omodhos, called by many as the most beautiful village of the Island. Light a candle in Monastery of the Holy Cross, enjoy village life at the village square or stroll through the narrow streets with his handicraft shops. Don't miss the free tasting of the local wine! Our trip continues through the breathtaking landscape of Troodos mountains towards the famous Kykkos Monastery. Not far away lays the Tomb of Archbishop Makarios III. After the Paphos Forest, the largest one in Cyprus, there will be our last stop at the Chrysorogiatissa Monastery, established 1152 and dedicated to Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate. Always remember to cover shoulders and knees when entering holy places. An amazing day out for everybody that wants to learn more about the green heart of Cyprus!
