  • This tour was not what I expected. When you title something the magic of advent I expected to hear some information about the history of Advent in Zagreb. I think this tour should have been called walking history tour around the city square. Our guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable but I felt like she was in a rush to be done. The description said a funicular ticket and mulled wine were included but we did not get either. The lights and decorations are beautiful . We went at 4:30 pm , lights were all aglow but many things were closed. The description also said we'd see a live nativity. What we saw was the start of Bethlehem being assembled, no animals or people. We walked by churches but were told we could not go in.
