Francois was absolutely fantastic. He is animated, passionate, fun, and very knowledgeable!! We learned all about the neighborhood’s history, architecture, and best local spots. Highly recommend this tour, it was very interesting and became one of my favorite areas in Paris!

Four of us did the Marais tour with Francois and I cannot imagine a better tour. Francois (born in Paris) provided a fascinating look at the area and Its history and was extremely entertaining as well (we liked him so much, we took a tour of the Latin Quarter with him the next day). Very well paced tour and the walking was not excessive. I have come to feel that you get what you pay for when it comes to tour guides - Francois was a bit more expensive than some other tours but worth every penny.
