We loved this tour. The food was very tasty and Monique was so knowledgeable about the city’s history. It was a win/win!

Monique was an excellent tour guide. I so appreciated that she reached out by phone to try and locate me when I was in the wrong meeting spot. The tour itself was terrific as she provided a wonderful history of Melbourne and integrating it among some fantastic dining locations. She intertwines a diverse array of cuisines from desserts to small plate dishes. My favorite was the Vietnamese Bahn mi sandwich. This was the best one I ever had anywhere. The bread was toasted perfectly with a crisp exterior and fluffly inside that was soft and flavorful topped by roasted pork belly with just the right mix of sauce and seasoning. Our other meal with delectable dumplings was accompanied by sweet tastings from macaroons to the finest chocolates or Italian gelato. We ended the tour with a fine beer or wine. This is just a fun and easy tour that gives you a taste of what Melbourne has to offer.

We scheduled our food tour for the day after we arrived in Melbourne because we always learn the best places to eat and great history tidbits from our guides that we can use throughout our visit. We were so lucky to have the owner of the company, Monique as our guide! She was engaging, had fascinating stories about the city (and country) to share and seamlessly adjusted conversation to adapt to our group’s knowledge base and interests. Her interactions with the business owners we met along the way proved that they care for and support each other which is a great testament to Monique and the businesses she selects for her tours. We’ve even recommended to friends who live here that they check out her tours!

We would recommend this tour to everyone. The guide, Andrew, was so knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne and the sites we visited. The various array of food and drinks were delicious 😋 Thoroughly enjoyable

Andrew was a great guide and had really interesting stories about the city. The food was absolutely divine and you'll not be hungry on this tour. I loved the stories about each of the places we stopped at too. I also really appreciated you going ahead with the tour when it was just me. I'd highly recommend to any friends travelling to Melbourne. Thank you to Andrew and Melbourne Foodie Discovery Walking Tours for a very memorable tour.

My friend and I went on the tour, he is back living in his childhood home city of Melbourne and hadn’t done this. He loved it as much as I did. Robert, our guide, was funny, knowledgeable and made the experience to feel we were a close knit group of 8 very easily. Best Bahn mi and dumplings we have eaten - did I mention the dumplings! For history and a great Melbourne experience, we will both be recommending this to all our friends and will certainly go again ourselves.
-
Great fun and interesting Melbourne architecture facts. The food was delicious and the coffee may have been the best I’ve ever tasted. The hot chocolate was equally amazing. Our tour guide was the best, with an obvious love for the city

Monique was grea, very patient and professional. I was a bit lost trying to find the starting location and she called to make sure I found my way. Amazing experience with the food and drinks. I also learned so much about the history of Melbourne. Highly recommended
