Great history and stories along way. Knowledgeable guide and scenic route. Would do again. Highly recommend!

We made a mistake in where they were picking us up. Thought by our cruise ship, but it was downtown. Cost. Us a extra cab ride. Ride was nice especially when we saw a deer in the park. Maybe make sure people know pickup point on day of excursion. Downtown and pier are not close.

It was evident the horse was well cared for and well trained. No hauling on the reins- great response to voice commands. Our driver was very informative. Lots of fun vignettes about Victoria’s history. A lovely way to spend an hour in downtown Victoria.

Our driver Taylor was fantastic !! Very knowledgeable on Victoria history.. All the carriage team members were friendly and helpful.. We Highly recommend …!!!

Our guide was fantastic! The only problem was there was no microphone so when she turned around to face the horse and not us we could not hear her. It was so fun, and we got to see a lot of Victoria and its history. Highly highly recommend Victoria Carriage Tours.

What an interesting and amazing experience we had! The sights were fascinating. We’ve just moved to Victoria and our coach driver Allison went beyond the usual touristic information and added useful pointers about local favourites. We strongly recommend you request that coach driver when booking because she is extremely entertaining with lots of outrageously funny facts, lore and legends in addition to the historical. We are booking again!

Emma ( driver) was definitely a plus- very informative and charming without being stuffy or a “ canned” presentation. Absolutely a fun way to see the inner harbor area and discover the Victorian homes of James Bay

We took the spooky Halloween tour and we all had a great time! First the staff we very friendly and were also very kind and professional in how they dealt with the horses. The driver was able to safely drive us around downtown while remembering and reciting about 50 different ghost stories. I was very impressed! More importantly however my eleven year old boy had a great time from petting the horses to snuggling into the warm blankets they provided on the trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to take the time to get to know the city and try something fun and new!
