My tour guide Cathy was wonderful! I was traveling solo in Shanghai and she made the experience much more enjoyable. Sadly some of the activities I wanted to do were closed by the time I arrived, so she switched up the itinerary and we saw parts of the city I would have never seen on my own. I had a great time! I would even do the full day tour as the half day tour went by so fast. Also I loved the river cruise! Seeing Shanghai from the water is a must do.

    1. Tour: evening River Cruise (prívate) for 2 adults 2. Price: 320 U.S. dollars 3. Date: june 8th Among many tours I have taken with you around the world this is the most incredible, absurd and outrageously OVERPRICED tour I have ever taken. Let me explain why: -I was definitely picked up from my hotel vsharply at 6:30 pm. The car was a small size car not uncomfortable but not of a private tour level. We rode for 20 minutes and together with the guide, we were dropped off at the street side of the riverside. We walked for 10 minutes on the esplanade and the rushed back to the sidewalk and waited 25 minutes for the car to come and picked us up. We rode 10 minutes to the pier to get the tickets under a terrible pressure from the guide who didn’t want to miss the ferry regardless I am a 77 year old man who walk with a stick. Stairs up and down we got there. Waited for 15 minutes until the guide got the tickets. We walked another quarter of a mile to board the ferry and climb stair to reach the main deck. A third world STANDING deck with hundreds of people who gathered elbow to elbow to get at a clean spot for pictures. There was a sitting deck option with complementary drinks for 80 yuans each but THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED. We are talking about 12 US dollars each (?) One hour cruise on the ferry (very nice view at night) which I would not recommend during daylight and the back to the pier to disembark and literally ran to the sidewalk for another half and hour wait for the car to pick us up to take us to Old Shanghai City. One hour walking around and “artificial” old town full of stores and small fast food quiosks. After that back to our hotel… TOTALLY DISSAPOINTED had it not been for the 1 hour ferry cruise. No food tasting at all as it was described in my tour details and which nor the guide neither the office manager recognized as their offer or obligation. I am not a traveler who complain for not being able to get 2 dumplings or a sandwich in a hired tour but miss information and cost effective analysis definitely makes a difference. Now let me go into numbers: - a ride from my hotel to the pier/esplanade is 35 yuans -the river cruise for two is 160 yuans - a taxi ride from the pier to Old Shanghai is 25/30 yuans - Taxi back to hotel 40 yuans - TOTAL FOR 2 is 260 yuans or us dollars 37.00 give or take 40 US dollars vs 320 that you charge me is something that I don’t want to name here but you may read my mind. - As you may understand I will make this comment public through TripAdvisors as I have been asked after every tour experience here in China to please comment on TripAdvisor as it means a lot to them after Covid lockdown in China. No tourists are coming and many businesses have closed down. I have placed good comments on other tours like X’ian, Shopping Tour in Shanghai and day tour to Water Town near Shanghai but in order to preserve the resources and high spirit of future travelers, I cannot stop this comment Thank you

Since we weren't able to return to our home country this summer, we decided on a "stay-cation" in Shanghai. Our family had a great day exploring Shanghai with Apple! We live in Suzhou and are frequently in Shanghai but haven't taken the time to truly learn more about the city. We walked around the Xintiandi area, visited Yu Garden and ended the evening with a Huangpu River Cruise. We already have plans to re-visit many of these sights in the future. We have plans to book a tours with Jenny in the future, including learning more about our current home in Suzhou.

My friends and I had a layover in Shanghai. Jenny's Tour was highly rated and lived up to their reputation. With less than 24 hrs Jenny had organized a private tour with airport pick-up and hotel drop. Our guide was Lee and he was fantastic, he showed us some great local areas and the river cruise gave a wonderful perspective of the new city and the Bund sites. We got to experience the Ultimate Experience in Shangai thanks to Jenny and Lee's efforts.

My two high school students and I were on a school trip and received the nicest private tour of the downtown area. Our guide, Lee, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately bad traffic caused us to arrive at the meeting spot late, so we missed the ferry ride across the river, but our guide quickly found q cab for us so we could go up the SWFC Tower. Great food and great sites. An amazing deal for the price. Would highly recommend!

We did the Ultimate Shanghai Evening tour with Marco in August 2018. We were originally supposed to do the tour on Saturday evening however, our flight was so delayed we missed the tour and Jenny thankfully moved us to the next evening. We really appreciated that given the late notice! Our tour with Marco was interesting, we ended up being his only customers so it was a private tour for us. The evening started off great and we got to see a lot of Shanghai but we felt it went a little long. By the end we were walking in silence through the financial district and we just wanted to get back to our hotel.

Our family went on the Ultimate Shanghai Evening Adventure on the first night of our China vacation and we had an amazing time! We have four kids, ages 16, 14, 11 & 8. Everyone in our family loved this tour. We were staying in the Radisson Blu Hotel and Lee, our tour guide, was patient while we got checked in since we were running a few minutes behind due to heavy downtown traffic. We loved everything about the tour--it was one of our favorite things we did on our trip to China! Thankfully, the weather was perfect and we could see the sights at night clearly. The food was good and we learned a lot. We would recommend this tour to anyone!
