Know More about this tour
After pickup from your Guatemala City hotel in the morning, head to airport, hop on a small plane, and set off toward the town of Flores in northern Guatemala! When you arrive, you'll be driven to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tikal National Park (Parque Nacional Tikal). With an area of more than 341 square miles (550 sq km), this national park is home to thousands of separate ruin structures scattered around, each full of intriguing history.
Follow your expert guide through these Mayan ruins and visit the Central Acropolis, a maze of courtyards and small temples, before continuing to Complex Q and R, where you'll see twin pyramid complexes with altars set in front of the temples. Visit the massive Temple I (also known as the Temple of the Grand Jaguar), built to honor and bury King Moon Double Comb. This 144-foot (44-meter) temple encloses three rooms with outside stairs leading to the top of the steep temple. Walk a short distance to the equally beautiful Temple II, the Temple of the Masks.
After your tour, enjoy a delicious lunch before taking some time on your town to explore the ruins at your leisure. Then, head back to the Flores airport to begin your transfer back to Guatemala City.

What a beautiful experience. Logistics of the tour were perfect. Everything was on time and went as expected. The guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend!

Manuel was very knowledgeable and kind. Most worthwhile! The restaurant for lunch was very attractive, but the beef options was quite chewy.
-
It's a long day but worth it. Do get up the Mundos Perdidos pyramid as the view is breathtaking. Santiago, our guide (if you speak Spanish or French) was just lovely!
-
We had a smooth adventure. Our guide E was amazing and so knowledgeable about the culture and history at Tikal. I was traveling solo and felt comfortable the entire time. Food was okay! Do not miss out on Tikal!

I took this tour from Guatemala City, so I had to fly from Guatemala airport to Flores airport.
The taxi driver picked me up at 4:30 and i was at the airport at 4:45. So i had to wait till 6:30 for my flight with nothing to do in such small airport I could've slept more at the hotel. Anyway, we arrive to Flores airport and I meet the guide there. So the guide tells me that we still need to wait around for like an hour for another group to arrive. Keeping in mind that this is a 1 day tour, waiting for an additional hour for another group to come by bus was a bit annoying for me. Moreover, the guide was not energetic and interesting. So, I am giving this tour 3 stars only because of the bad organization and guide.
But I must say that Tikal is such an amazing site and is definitely a must do. So if you are like me short on time, take this tour anyway because you will end up forgetting about all these issues once you see the greatness of this place -
Very knowledgeable guide who shared insights into Mayan culture, flora and fauna of the rain forest.
-
Just a compulsory tour for everyone who travels through Mesoamerica. The most memorable experience from the travel in six countries.

We had an excellent guide. He was very enthusiastic and answered all our queries. We had an amazing trip. Delicious food. Everything from flight to shuttles to guide to meal - well coordinated trip. Will recommend to everyone.

This is a great trip that hits all the important spots in Tikal. This a truly exceptional option for someone that does not have many days in Guatemala but wants to see Tikal.

A really good tour overall. The guide was passionate about his heritage and it showed in his readiness to discuss the Mayan civilization at Tikal. They should have provided bottles of water and the lunch could have been better.
