Wonderful time. Would highly recommend this tour. It’s an early morning, but you can sleep on the plane and bus ride home. The tour recommends long pants, and I am glad I did. Also, it’s very hot and sunny and a little buggy so bring bug spray and sunblock. There are places to buy water, Gatorade and snacks in the park.

I used Guatemalan Adventure for multiple tours, including this one to Tikal, but also Antigua, Pacaya and Atitlan. I had different guides every time and they were all fantastic, knowledgeable, accommodating, spoke English and went above and beyond. Milton (Tikal), Carmen and Mirko were so great! They took us off the beaten path and showed us hidden gems. I did the same tour to Atitlan with Carmen and Mirko on different weekends and they showed me different things, and I liked the variety. The transportation was prompt and always on time. Henry was such a kind driver. Natalia helped me with my booking, which involved multiple pick up’s and drop offs from different locations. She was the best. I fully recommend Guatemalan Adventure tours and would use them every time.

This was an amazing trip. Viator was awesome in taking care of all of the details. Not an easy place to access on your worn. Tour guide was wonderful. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!!

The magnificence and beauty of the park. The extraordinary achievement of the Mayans. The guide was well informed and very patient. The temples are wonderful and you can climb three of them by a wooden structure. The lunch was good. The whole experience is well worth it.

We were very happy with this day tour. I chose the option of having transportation to the airport. The person who picked us up was very punctual and informative on the directions for our flight to Flores airport. When we arrived we were able to grab a bite to eat at the airport and the shuttle that drove us to Tikal was excellent, especially the air conditioning. Our tour guide was Mr. Lopez who explained everything in English, was very knowledgeable of the Mayan culture, shared fun and interesting stories and guided us with many stops to show us about the flora and fauna of the area. We were able to go up some of the ruins and the tour of the park ended in the most breathtaking pyramids and Mayan residential area. Lunch was excellent, very tasty. For the return to the airport the air conditioning in the shuttle was great! This part of the country is very warm year round. At the airport, Mr. Lopez was very kind and accompanied us to the airline counter for our flight back to Guatemala City. This day tour to Tikal is an excellent option during your visit to Guatemala. Would definitely recommend it!

Long day but well worth it. Our guide was excellent, spoke English well and provided lots of history. We were at Tikal for about 5 hours including a delicious lunch on site.

Delightful very busy, full day. Great managers, drivers and guide. Lots of walking! Climb pyramids. Recommend walking and getting conditioned if you are out of shape. Lunch great!
-
Favorite part of the experience was climbing the temples. My partner and I also really enjoyed that the guide said the tour information in both English and Spanish. It was really helpful for learning more Spanish during our Guatemala trip! Some tips for future travelers is to have sun protection, and bring Quetzales because there is opportunity to buy water during the tour.

A fabulous trip! My only regret was the lunchtime. Have a hearty breakfast. The lunch will be served late.

Great guide, learned alot. Well paced for a really long day. In addition to temples got to see a good amount of wildlife. The guide was knowledgeable on both.
