Tour was way more awesome than expected. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide (Her name was Fluora).

Es una excursión muy cara para lo poco que se ve. Vehículo sin aire acondicionado y el camino está en muy malas condiciones.

Everyone should add this tour to a trip to Peru. Pikillacta is almost as impressive as Machupicchu and if and when it is completely excavated may rival it - see it before the crowds move in. Tipon and San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas are both beautiful and peaceful. Our guide (Michael) is well-informed and entertaining and our driver (Franklin) is competent and friendly. Please do not miss.

A really enjoyable tour. Our driver, Jordi and guide Gary, were excellent. Picked us up at our hotel right on time. Explained where we were going throughout the tour. Gary is a very knowledgeable guy, able to answer all our questions. Gave us plenty of time at each location to view on our own and take pictures. They even stopped at a popular bakery on the way back and bought some bread for us to try. There were only two of us so the trip was a very personal tour and got dropped off back at our hotel. Wonderful and great value for money.

We wanted to explore the Cusco area outside of the Sacred Valley so this tour was perfect. Fabrizio our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made the different sites come alive! It was interesting to learn about the pre-Inca sites that inspired the Inca; Pikillacta. Tipon was a marvel of construction with its complex irrigation and the church at Andahuaylillas was awe-inspiring. Thank you Fabrizio for the great tour. Thank you to our driver Martin. It was a memorable day and we would highly recommend the experience!

We booked this tour but my wife was unwell so it turned into a solo tour for just me. Andahuaylillas has a very interesting and beautiful catholic church but you can't take pictures inside. The guide explained to me how the church was really richly decorated by donations from the exploitation of the local people. (not the first example of this in Peru). Pikillacta is a fantastic and extensive pre-Inca(Wari) site with very good explanation from the guide. Tipon is pure Inca and reminiscent of Moray but agricultural rather than experimental. Again good explanations from the guide. I recommend this tour if you are staying in Cusco - the sites really are worth a visit and makes a very enjoyable half day.

Mariainez is a very knowledeable guide with an excellent command of the English language. She, and driver Jodie, provided a very informative and scenic tour. We really enjoyed it.

Knowledgeable guide took us to the amazing church. Alone that would have been worth the trip. The guide’s deep knowledge of the man behind the creation of this sanctuary and the artists who painted the ceiling and the beautiful gold-leafed altar was truly incredible. In addition, we were taken to pre-inka and inka sites that were spectacular. Again, the tour guide arrived on time, drove safely, answered all our questions and brought us back to the hotel with a new understanding of the local culture and its heritage.

Our hotel arranged a private tour with this company so it was just the 6 of us and our amazing guide. I can't remember his name but we did the tour on Monday, June 3. Anyhow, the Southern Valley is a quiet, more authentic experience in Peru and much more relaxed than the frantic hustle of Cusco. We were pretty much the only people there at the church and at Pikillacta, and Tipon had few visitors as well. We loved all 3 places but I think Tipon was our favorite. This tour really added to our trip to Peru and we highly recommend it!
