Alfredo was our guide..knowledge ...friendly and a pleasure to enjoy his company. History was amazing......fountains. Were a work of ancient art

Unlike other tours, I felt like I saw everything there was to see and was not rushed through anything. However, I walked 5 miles and climbed 20 floors before the day was done. The tour guide, Diona, was terrific. The transportation was good. The lunch was mediocre at best but the tour members were a good bunch.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the historical perspective of each site. The group was fun, our luck I’m sure. Lunch was good. Not too far of a drive. Loved it!

The tour was well run. On time, great information, and very acceptable local restaurant used for lunch.

Exquisite beauty of fountains and gardens at Villa D’Este-highlight of the tour. Very knowledgeable guide. Hadrians temple tour could be shorter-didn’t need 2hrs. Made for very long day

Hadrian's villa and Villa d'Este exceeded our expectations. Fantastic sites worth seeing. The lynch stop was great fun and very filling!

Let me start of by saying I have been to Rome before and found it entirely overwhelming. I am not a fan of crowds being herded from place to place. THIS tour was the perfect break I needed from the massive amount of post-covid Rome tourists. We had 13 people ( if you counted tour guide) and most of the tour was outside. It is alot of walking but so very worth it! Tour was exactly as described and I did not feel like anyone was trying to sell us anything and tour guide was well informed. Very beautiful sites. Hadrian palace had to have been spectacular back when it was completed. The fountains at the other Castle are spectacular!

  • 18-Oct-2022

Fountains were spectacular. Grounds were beautiful well worth the trip. Driver was very good (not scary). Definitely would do again; however, the guide’s English was not easy to understand and his facts were scanty. All the other guides we’ve had were amazing (6, so far).

Incredible experience. Caroline was a wonderful guide. So much great history. Nice lunch. Be prepared to walk a solid 3 hours. Uneven land, lots of stairs and be sure and wear closed walking shoes. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide, Carolina. She made her information so easy to follow and understand. It was obvious she loves her job. However, there is a lot of walking and I'd suggest taking water and wearing a hat. But, it is worth it.
