Know More about this tour

After hotel pickup in Los Cabos, travel by minivan for a 90-minute scenic drive up along the western coast of the Baja Peninsula to Todos Santos, a desert oasis and rustic town located near the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. The coastal town boasts Bajas only Pueblo Magico, one of 83 magical villages in all of Mexico recognized by the government for possessing a unique blend of natural beauty, history and cultural heritage.

Upon arrival, your knowledgeable guide takes you around the historic downtown dating back to 1723. In the central plaza, gaze at the Spanish mission church of Nuestra Seora del Pilar de Todos Santos, and learn about the original site, Misin Santa Rosa de las Palmas, which was nearly decimated by the Peric Indians. Pass by crumbling brick trapiches, or former mills, and hear about Todos Santos heyday in the 19th century as a bustling sugar town.

Today, Todos Santos offers a slow pace of life and with its bounty of sunny days, provides a haven for artists, craftsmen, surfers and visitors wishing to leave the crush of tourists behind. You guide takes you to areas concentrated with handicraft shops, art galleries and fine dining.

And of course, no trip to Todos Santos is complete without a stop at the Hotel California, a popular attraction due to its name association with the eponymous Eagles song. Stroll through the hotel at your leisure and browse the gift shop filled with souvenirs.

After exploring the town, enjoy two hours to explore the area on your own. Feel free to ask your guide for recommendations and then find one-of-a-kind art and souvenirs, or grab a cool drink and join the locals in passing time at a park.

When youre relaxed and ready to leave, board your minivan for transport back to Los Cabos.

  • Terrible tour. It was misleading in that we only went to one historic place did not do the museum listed and stopped by the side of the road to see one cactus. Otherwise, it was time driving to and fro and stopping at a mediocre tourist oriented restaurant for lunch in the town and an overpriced tourist place to see weaving on the way down. All this was made worse by drunk passengers who coming back convinced the tour guide to stop at a gas store with a little store to buy more beer so they could continue drinking. Do not take this if you wish to actually see things. Realize viatour is not responsible for who the other people were, but the description was inaccurate and the tourguide facilitated the excessive drinking.

  • Our guide was exceptional in knowledge of the flora and fauna encountered along the road to Todos Santos. A pee break stop along the roadway was a bit inconvenient. The stop at the rug factory was unremarkable. Hotel California was enhanced the day we arrived with a large number of motorcyclists arriving at the same time. Quite entertaining! Lunch and margaritas at Tequila Sunrise was good and very expensive. The museum a bit overrated. Passengers provided beverages. Overall, a good trip and break during our stay in Cabo.

  • Great tour knowledgeable and friendly tour guide

  • Fabulous! Our guide, Ruben, gave us personalized attention, even showing us one of the rooms in the Hotel California. He made sure each of us got to take advantage of all that Todos Santos has to offer. I highly recommend this tour.

  • Very nice tour, we were the only ones so it was like our own private tour! Guide was very friendly and knowledgable.

  • Very friendly driver and tour guide. Had the chance yo meet people from Chicago, Las Vegas, Houston and NYC.

  • The guide Marco was great and very informative. He was very helpful in making sure that everyone's needs wear met. Especially for my wife who is handicap. This was a great tour and we are looking forward to doing it again. Thank you Marco.

  • Enjoyed the excursion. The drive to Todos Santos provided a good view of the landscape. Marcos was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and able to answer all questions. Being Good Friday, some things were closed, but still a great experience. The Stations of the Cross being done through the streets was moving.
