We had an excellent tour experience in Tokyo due in large part to my wonderful guide Andy. Andy was in touch with me via Whatsapp ahead of time so that we were able to easily customize the itinerary according to time, interest, and spur-of-the-moment requests. He had a wealth of information about the various points of interest, and he was expertly able to convey that information (both in verbal and pictorial form). I was traveling with mother-in-law who has mobility and other issues, but Andy was patient, competent, and had a calming energy that made our experience both relaxing and meaningful. I recommend this tour and Andy without reservations. Andy is an excellent guide, and I plan to seek him out future tours when I am in Tokyo.

Best guide yet! We had a wonderful time and she really put time into organizing our day to get the maximum amount out of our day. The kids wanted to see their anime characters and she didn't disappoint!

It was a very informative and beautiful day by our guide Mika. We could see a lot and learn a lot. Thank you very much!

The Japan CIty Tour was well paced, very informative and interesting, and Yumi, our tour guide was simply amazing. Professional, attentive and courteous, she was at the same time, quite entertaining and gave us insights on Japan culture and norms that you don’t find in published materials. Every site was unique, lovely, unforgettable, from the gardens in the Edo Palace, the Sensoji Temple, and views from the Tokyo skyscraper. Beautiful city.

An excellent tour would highly recommend. Our tour guide Kenji was fantastic, very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. We had a great tour of the city and learned a lot, he was also helpful in teaching us how to navigate the restaurant subway and public transit in a way to save money. He made sure we got to where we wanted to visit in the city after the tour as well.

Amazing Tour with Yuichi! We saw everything we wanted on this full tour. Yuichi explained everything and it was a fun and exciting tour.

The imperial palace is a must see when you visit Tokyo. The East Higashi Gyoen garden is just amazing. The view from Nijubashi bridge is astonishing. It really worth a try!

  • 25-Jul-2022

Rie was incredibly accommodating, adjusting the tour to my preferences and even pointing out on the map possible spots to buy water or gifts. The only minus is that the Imperial Gardens are large enough that one hour wasn't enough, I wish I could have booked for more! Will definitely make another reservation next time I want a guided tour.

Our guide Mr. Akutsu Michio wrote mail shortly after the booking and provided all information needed for the tour. He has a vast culture, knowing interesting details about the garden and imperial palast, Japan and many other places in the world. Very clear and understandbale Englisch and responding to all our questions. The place is really lovely. We were travelling for business and there were almost no tourists, and we were able to enjoy it in very relaxed way. Keep in mind - you book normally GARDEN tour and not a palast visit.

Tomoko was an amazing guide! We had young kids with us and she tailored the tour to things they were interested in. She was very knowledgeable about the gardens and the history of the imperial palace and family. We loved our tour!
