  • An absolute must when you visit Costa Rica. The beach is serene and includes multiple activities (jet skiing, snorkeling, etc), and the crew is loads of fun. I would go again and again!

  • It's a long time but the tour was amazing! Our guide Josue was a great guide and knew his stuff. The catamaran ride to and from the island was entertaining. Also you are able to see other protected island. The best part for me was the trail part where you can see different plant species.

  • It was so much fun and the crew were amazing. The food was delicious and the island was breathtaking. The weather was perfect andbwe saw whales as well.

  • This was a great day! From the bus ride early in the morning until I was delivered safely back to my hotel in the evening, everything was just what one would wish for - the interesting, enjoyable cruise on the catamaran, the lovely beach, great food and drinks handed to me every few minutes. We saw a whale on the return cruise and the captain slowed the boat for a long time so we might get another look. No hurrying at all.

Most of all I want to compliment the crew and hosts. I am a solo traveler and was the only English-speaker in the group so I was pretty clueless much of the time. But it didn't matter, because the hosts looked out for me. One in particular, Josh, was especially helpful in helping me navigate through the day. Thank you Josh! It's much appreciated.

    I'll be back.

  • WoW!!! What an absolute blast!!! The vessel crew was very catering from the vessel to the beach and back. A whole day laying on the beach while they bring you fresh coconut with rum, play volleyball, read a book, feed you a delicious meal, live music and even baby turtles found their way to enjoy our day.
The fun didn't end when we boarded the vessel to go home. The crew played music and entertained the whole way back with salsa dancing and singing galore. SO MUCH FUN!!!

  • Picked up on time, switched from a small mini van to a huge tour bus. My bus was 99.9 percent Spanish speaking and I was a solo traveler with basic Spanish. Even after alerting the guide, he continued to only speak in Spanish. The bus was totally full and it was a long ride with no stopping until you hit the dock to board the catamaran. Breakfast is a ham sandwich with juice and a cookie. The guide never explained the tickets he gave me. Once on the catamaran it was a mad dash for the bathrooms -where all the women decided they would change into swim suits. The music was loud and the commentator only spoke Spanish. The guys working the catamaran were super sweet and spoke some English. Once at the island your group meets up and everything explained in Spanish...had to specifically ask what was going on. There is very little shade and this was at the end of my trip. I had some sunburn, so I didn't want to get much more. It basically forces you to rent a chair for shade. Its super crowded, so much so I didn't feel comfortable snorkeling as the groups were large and they didn't stay out for long. The beach was packed with boats so, didn't feel safe wading out. There was no signs for the trails. All the other tours, I felt comfortable, this one...I couldn't wait to leave. The food was mediocre at best. The best part was the gift shop and that they offer lockers for your stuff. Everything cost extra even the bathrooms. I was pretty miserable. The catamaran ride back was nice-they offer fruit and soft drinks. Only knew where I was going by watching people I knew were on my bus, my guide was not keeping track of anyone. Got settled on the bus only to be scooted off to a smaller minivan. The driver knew NO English and after 30 mins or so he just pulled over and started rushing us off the minivan-2 other girls who knew a little English explained that he was switching us to yet another vehicle and to follow them. The island is beautiful, the tour was disappointing-I wish I had skipped it and walked around in San Jose. I do not recommend this tour to solo people who are not fluent in Spanish. I did fine with the little Spanish I know and learned for the other 13 days...this day was intimidating and confusing.

  • The hotel pickup was 15 minutes late, and the pickup at other hotels continued for the next hour. But I am not complaining because it was good to see more of the city during that ride. The trip was beyond my expectations. The bus was so comfortable, clean, and has AC. The bus driver was good. Breakfast was a sandwich, apple, and juice was good. Our tour guide and all the other staff were very, very friendly. The boat ride was amazing! It was clean, and there was the entertainment crew who were lovely. Fruit and drinks were served on our ride to the island and on the way back. The island was OK- wasn't clear or crystal blue, nothing breathtaking. It was just nice to meet other travellers and chilling on the beach, or other activities were available at our own cost other people seemed to have had a good time. Lunch was also delicious-we had chicken, fish, rice, veggies, and had some free soft drinks. Overall, this tour was very pleasant :

  • Great tour!

  • Had a really fun day with lost of mojitos!!
I and #39;m only giving this 4 stars because of two things, there was a lack of communication as to what was going on and because I thought the island was going to be prettier.
the crew was awesome and very hard working. Lunch was yummy!
