Maria was an excellent host - she booked a taxi for us from our accommodation near Montevarchi and made us feel very welcome in her home. She spoke good English and was very patient with our fumbling attempts to make pasta! She made it look so simple (as indeed it is when you have the benefit of someone with her knowledge and experience) and we will definitely trying the tagliatelle and ravioli recipes at home. We were able to eat our pasta along with additional dishes made by Maria (including a tasty dessert) and a fine bottle of Chianti. Maria even gave us a tour of the small village afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I cannot rate it highly enough. Thank you Maria!

Maria was lovely! She welcomed us into her home and showed us step by step how to make tagliatelle and ravioli using all fresh ingredients. We then cooked it in the kitchen too, ready to eat! She also took us on to the roof to take in the beautiful Tuscan hill views before we delved into our meal! We sat down to eat, along with extra dishes she had previously prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and conversation with Maria! Very intimate and very authentic... a true Italian cooking class! Thank you.

Cannot speak highly enough about this experience. The instructors welcome you into the kitchen, teach you to mix and knead the dough and make the pasta, and then you break bread as a family. Incredibly affordable price for pasta making lesson + four course meal, wine included. We loved it!

A lovely family who taught how to make pasta. They where extremely welcoming. We ended up having an amazing dinner and wine. We could have stayed all night chatting. It was only that we had a busy day that we had to leave soon after dinner. Would recommend this to anyone

Did this course with my girlfriend, took about 3-4 hours. Took place at their lovely family home & kitchen down a small alleyway near to Arezzo - was quite difficult to find! However once there the cooking started, with all ingredients and equipment provided. The chef - Maria - did a great job of teaching us and going through it step by step. I cant cook to save my life but she made it easy for me! English was minimal but her lovely daughter was on hand to translate, so no issues. We had plenty of included red wine and a huge 3-4 course meal. Afterwards we left with some cake to take home. A lovely afternoon with a wonderful family!

Great experience what a super family to spend 3 to 4 hours with. Excellent job explaining the process of making the pasta, cooking the pasta and best part eating what we prepared. I for sure left with enough knowledge to try this at home.

I would highly recommend this as a must do on your trip to Italy. When we arrive great with a snack to keep us going while we cooked and a lovely red wine to sip on while we worked.

One of my top highlight of our trip. Give it 5 stars in my books.

Never made it to the class. I reached out regarding pick up from our hotel months before our trip. I received an email confirming they would do it. Two days prior I receive frantic calls from a gentleman (and I use the term loosely) telling me that I must contact him. When I call he tells me that he will send information on what train I need to take to get to Arezzo and he will pick us up from the station. I tell him that we were told pick up was from our hotel, reluctantly we agree to take the train. Communicating with him was very difficult. He sends me a train schedule that does not match anything at the station. The station employee then proceeds to inform us that we need to go to Florence then to Arezzo then transfer trains to another smaller village. This would take almost 4 hours. At this point I call him to ask what is going on and why did he send us this information. His response- “why are you just now trying to figure this out”. He was rude and unwilling to help. We all decided to call it a day and forfeit our payment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BASED ON THEIR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and I, definitely a great value. Valentina is charming, engaging, has a lovely home and is a fantastic cook and teacher. We spent about 4 hours with her, from start to finish. We began with appetizers and prosecco and ended the evening watching the sun set on her gorgeous patio having biscotti and Vinsanto. In between, we were in her kitchen making broth, tagliatelle, and a Tuscan ragu. It was one of the highlights if not THE highlight of our vacation! When we arrived back to Pittsburgh we recreated the entire meal for our family and they loved it!
