The tour starts at your accommodation and after 1 hour driving our first stop is Trakoscan castle(13th century), perched on a small hill overlooking the large park and forest area. First we will explore the indoors of the castle and learn about the families and culture from that area. After, we will have a relaxing walk around the castle and have some free time for a coffee and enjoying the nature.
After the castle we head to Varazdin with a visit to a local Botanical garden on the way. About 1 hour drive and we are in Baroque Capital of Croatia. Varadin is one of the oldest and the most beautiful Central European cities. wing to its charm and baroque architecture Varadin has been historically dubbed Little Vienna. The city, whose rich history goes back to the 12th century, was home to the regions wealthiest nobles, landowners, artisans and artists, especially in the late 1700s, when the city flourished and became the capital of Croatia.
In the late afternoon we are back in Zagreb.
