Lisa, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to excellent places where we sampled typical local food. My two sons enjoyed the tour also.
When in Rome, do a food tour...it's am absolute must.

Excellent tour with great meal and other tastings. Super guide!! Starting in the market is great Especially if you arrive early to look around. The streets are stone blocks and uneven so good walking shoes are a must!!!

Greta was a wonderful guide. She was a wealth of information about the food and the history of true area. The vendors were very welcoming. And the food was absolutely delicious! We were stuffed by the time we got to the gelato (but of course still had to have it!)
One negative-unbeknownst to us, our tour was scheduled on the day of the Rome Marathon which was also a bank holiday, go getting to the market was a challenge. The Pantheon was closed as well so we couldn’t tour that. I would recommend that Viator keep that in mind and let customers know ahead of time.

This 4 hour walking tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Rome. Greta, our tour guide, was excellent. The opportunities to sample many of the culinary delights the city has to offer were plentiful. We walked from tasting site to tasting site, starting with varieties of pesto and balsamic vinegar and ending with gelato. Lunch at a restaurant was a private tasting with wonderful food. The stops at the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon were fascinating. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

I have been many times into Rome and this time I decided to take a walking tour, no regrets at all! The guide Giulia was very friendly and with lots of history knowledge as well as the good local places to eat and buy things. The group was only of 6 including me and the guide and it was worth the penny. I sure recomend it !

Our guide, Julia, did an excellent job leading us through the sites as we ate our way around Rome. The food was wonderful, and there was plenty of it. We tasted pesto, olive oils, and balsamic vinegars in the Campo De’ Fiori Market and then had tastings of salami, pizzas, tiramisu, gelato, and coffee. There was wine, beer, and lemoncello, too! In addition, there as fabulous lunch in an amazing setting. Julia was friendly and knowledgeable. She had plenty of interesting information to share about the Market, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Our group size of 8 made it easy to navigate all the venues and narrow streets. It was a lot of walking over 4 hours, but well worth it. I highly recommend this tour if you want a variety ( and plenty) of great Roman food!
