Know More about this tour

The Triana neighborhood is known for being the birthplace of soulful flamenco dancers and valiant bullfighters, as well as the site of Seville's famous ceramic industry. It is also known as the go-to spot for delicious, non-touristy tapas spots. On this unforgettable 3-hour tour, a guide will show you the best tapas bars that only the locals know about. From the most traditional tapas to tapas with a modern twist, all the places will leave you asking for more. And of course it makes perfect sense to accompany all this tapas with a good glass of wine. The tour guide will help you discover the aromas and flavors of wines that go well with this Andalusian cuisine.

First, meet in front of the Faro de Triana, at Triana Bridge (also called Isabel 2nd Bridge). From here, explore the local marketplace with its fresh produce, check out some major monuments, and arrive at the first tapas spot. After this, meander through the streets, and see a variety of different tapas places, from a loud and lively stand-up tavern to a tranquil, formal sit-down restaurant.

At each of the four tapas bars, you will have a drink and a choice of one plate to share, which means that if you are in a group with a few people, you will get to try a dozen different dishes. After this, return back to the meeting point by the lustrous Guadalquivir River so that you could stroll by the river (and perhaps check out some fantastic live flamenco).

  • The tour, guide Caroline and food were all wonderful. Great experience overall but the cost is ridiculous. You can book the same tour with a local guide for up to 75 less. I would never have paid the asking price if I had known something before I booked. But again the tour itself, seeing Triana, having great food and wine and conversation were all wonderful. Each restaurant was special with their own charming personalities.

  • Hi, All, brilliant tapas tour, our guide young man , knew his stuff, good humour , because of the tour we saw Trina side of Seville that probably we would not have gone to, we booked all our tours from England , rather than stand around asking everybody what do you want to do etc, just make sure you are hungry, fantastic experience.

  • Our guide Caroline was really wonderful. She was fun and fascinating as well as being a genuinely lovely person. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the range of tapas she ordered for us but we learned so much about the history and culture of both Triana and Sevilla. A really fantastic evening. Thank you so much Caroline

  • We enjoyed our tour with Eva who was extremely enthusiastic and informative.
The only thing we would change is that we were only taken to 2 bars instead of 4 as the other 2 were closed.
Perhaps there should be a backup when this happens? Also, one of the meeting points for the tour has changed names which we found to be a little confusing at the start. Otherwise a really nice evening. Thanks Eva!

  • Our tour was great with very good food and our tour guide Sara was fantastic.

  • We had such a great time on this tour! Our guide was so friendly and interesting -- she did a great job educating us on the history of Seville through food. She would recommend a few dishes, and based on our preferences, select the ones for us. They were all so delicious! Come hungry to this tour, you will eat a lot!

  • Eating at the best tapas places in Triana and with the kindest and best guides. We had a great evening and recommended your tour to everybody we know!
