Meet your guide at your hotel at 2pm and climb into the air-conditioned minivan, then head out of Port of Spain for a 3-hour tour where you will sample some of Trinidad's mouthwatering street cuisine.
Sample delicacies such as pholourie (deep-fried spicy split pea dough) served with a slice of pepper roti (flat bread), roast corn and a variety of pies. Savour freshly made saheena (spiced fritters) and kachourie (chickpea patties) with some amazing chutney. Then head back to Port of Spain to satisfy your sweet tooth with some all natural homemade ice cream! Your guide will explain the food as you go along, along with fascinating facts about Trinidad's foodie history.
